Full sized AR-15 Buffers are too-long for AR308 bolts to properly cycle, but this heavy (3.8oz) shortened bolt allows for reliable cycling! Modified AR-10 Buffer Spring is recommended for maximum reliability.For AR-15 Carbine buffer tubes (Mil-Spec / Commercial) ONLY. Will not work with Rifle (A1/A2) or GI 8" Receiver Extensions.

Buffer is as described. Wish it was heavier but for the price it can't be beat. Service from vendor is excellent, post office took forever to get it here
