The mounting plate basically replaces the rear iron sight of the handgun. Installing the aftermarket optic plate is not simply “plug and play”. We recommend having a qualified and competent gunsmith to install.
Below is an installation video created by a gunsmith installing the plate on his Glock. The video has detailed instruction step by step from dissembling the rear sight, to using gun glue to attach the red dot. It is the same method for other handguns such as Taurus, 1911, springfield, sw, sig ect. For gun glue, we recommend Loctite ThreadLocker.

Good mount for the price
This does fit a Sig P320. What you need to know is that it comes with no instructions whatsoever so you should know a little bit about what you are doing before you tackle the job (or let a gunsmith handle it). The rear sight drifts out from right to left looking from the back of the gun. The dovetail wedge that fits in the slot does have an imperceptible taper so it only goes in one way, from left to right. I measured it with a micrometer and filed the bottom of the insert until it went in with some resistance. Total time maybe 20 minutes. After that the rest was self-explanatory, it tightened up fine, looks and shoots great with a Vortex Venom (only 50 shots so far). It remains to be seen how it holds up, but I plan on having the slide milled for the sight eventually. Can’t beat this for the price.

Mounted it on a Sig 2022 , used a rear sight removal tool to remove old rear sight and mount the plate . Seems like a good mount so far so good .

as good as the expensive ones. Ignore the "P226 only" in description, it will fit any Sig that has the same rear dovetail. Mounted to my Sig P2022 and fits like a glove. Both mini's I have (Burris fastfire II and Sightmark mini) fit exact.

Great fit, easy to mount. Only basic tools required. Looks and functions great. Very secure fit to the gun and the red dot sight. Sight is a Vortex Venom on a Sig p226 Legion.

Works Great, Easy to Install!
Works Great and very simple to install - simply slide your rear sight out (using a sight removal tool or a punch would also work), install the dovetail portion of this 2-piece optic plate - then install your top plate to the dovetail piece and you're ready to install your Optics. I installed a Vortex Venom, worked as it should. It couldn't have been easier - and I didn't have to send my slide out to be machined to find out if I enjoyed having the red dot. I can tell you though, for someone over 60 like me, this red dot system certainly makes focusing on your target about a million times easier. I'm adding red dots to other hand guns now - As to this installation, I installed on one of my Sig Sauer P320's - fit great!

Sig P226 C1 mounting plate
This was a perfect fit onto my Bersa TPR9 C 9mm. I knew Bersa pistols could mount Sig Sauer sights so I took the chance that this dovetail plate would fit. No filing was needed. Just a little oil and heavy tapping.

Works exactly as advertised. I have an SP2022 and it was a perfect fit. Mounted the Burris to it and now I'm just waiting for some time to go verify that it (and the Burris) can hold up to practice.

Great mount plate. Easy to install and rugged. Much cheaper alternative to milling the slide and has almost the same profile. Very satisfied.

Easy to install...hard to stay put
The mounting plate is well made and is high quality. It was very easy to mount but blue Loctite wasn't strong enough to prevent eventual movement. Red Loctite seems to have done the job.

Manufacturing defect
I have worked in this industry for 30 + years. I know an oversize hole when I encounter them - this mount had oversize holes and therefore the tapping operation could not produce proper thread depth (from crest to root). Without sufficient thread engagement the threads will strip. And these threaded holes stripped with only marginal finger force while I was only seating the two flat-head screws. I have sent in a review twice and thus far NO reply. Customer service is Non-existent!
