IMHO this pistol grip is as close to purfection as you can find. The surface and slightly oversized design is both comfortable and with the finger grooves make it secure even in extreme conditions without being rough and irritating compared to checkered grips. I give this grip a 5 star rating although being water proof would make it 100% purfection. With that being said, if you're going to use the compartment to store allen and torx wrenches or batteries, putting them in small zip lock bags from a hobby store will resolve the water issue. The compartment's bottom sliding access door is secure yet easy to open when needed. Super satisfied.

This grip has a good feel in your hand. It feels like the same material as the original grip same plastic material as the shoulder butt stock. I didn’t want rubbery feel as rubber gets sticky when it ages. It was easy to change. It has a storage compartment inside the grip. It is hard to open. That’s my only issue. Some people keep extra batteries in there for a light. I have gun specific tools in there with a small cotton cloth in there if I need to wipe anything. It also keeps the tools from rattling.

Very nice and comfortable fits great on AR. I keep some back up foam ear plugs in grip storage. Love that’s it made in the U.S.A.
I do recommend at a great price also.

Sharp Design
I put this on my rifle to replace one of the stock factory grips. It is SHARP, lightweight and feels good. I was planning on putting some grip tape when it got here but its not needed. It makes the rifle look more modern while not taking away the efficiency of a grip. Very nice.

Great but...
These are really great grips! They fit pretty good and feel great in your hand even with gloves! I'm putting them on all my AR's. My only complaint would be that the storage in them isn't water tight. If it was then I would rate these 5 stars!

Easy intallation great feel. It's larger so it gits your hand really well. The storage compartment is hard to open.you need a bullet or something to press the latch. Doesn't come with star washer. Other than that great product.
