I'm impressed!
i think this is the best bipod i have seen and until you get your hands on it you cant rate it. but thats what im here for. when closed it does not CANT or Pivot at all. it is very well made. the bipod button is a little tricky at first because you have to grip while pushing the button and the legs will release. it doesnt open very wide compared to a harris but is still very stable with the CANT pivot and wont fall over. what i really like is that you can still use a 30 round mag setting on the guns butt with the bipod open and it doesnt touch the dirt. they did there homework on this peice. im going to be looking at a lot more products from MAKO! good job!

the entry level bipod is less stable
Pros: Very well made and durable Cons: No lock down feature on swivel function

Versatile!
Great foregrip and even better bipod. Takes a good beating. This is something you can really use without fear of breaking it. Better than the 1st version, as this version installs to your rail with hand screws...no tools. The buttons to deploy and collapse work really good and fast. The only thing to beware of is it's a little heavy, but you should expect that from a bipod/grip combp. Pros: Very functional and built like a tank Cons: A little heavy

Truly Excellent Grip and Bipod Combo
Well designed and built to last. I'd recommend this product to anyone. Bipod legs adjust independently unlike the competition's. Pros: Solid Construction. Works Great. Cons: Price a bit steep.

Well Designed, Functional bipod
This is a nicely designed multi-use foregrip and bipod. I liked the pivoting feature which the older model did not have. The grip is somewhat heavy for its size, but that goes to the quality metal components that are obviously underneath the plastic/fiberglass shell. Pros: Well Designed and well made Cons: Heavier than I expected

Great product!!
Some folks say it is wobbly but I have found that not to be the case. I have 5 of these and they are all well made and worth the money. Obviously for the pro that does not mind carrying the extra weight a metal bipod would be the choice but this is great for mobility. Pros: All good Cons: Can't find anything negative to say.

MountainMan
Any multi-use tool has limitations however this is a great foregrip and midrange bipod. Takes a little practice to cleanly deploy bipod in a "stress" situation. Time will tell if this unit will survive. Pros: toolless setup, rotation & tilt options

QR grip w/bipod
I bought this grip/bipod along with the non-pivoting version to mount on another rifle and, while I'm happy with both, this one is significantly more adjustable. True its a little more money but in my opinion, were I to do it over again I would have bought 2 of this version. Pros: super manueverable/adjustable Cons: slightly higher profile

Not Optics Planet
This product is great! The grip fit perfect on my firearm. there is a little play on the legs(i think they can be tightened by hex screws on the inners) but it does what it says. The optics planet crew is horrible, and the company is worst. it took 4 phone calls and eventually had to call the manufacturer to get the product shipped. if you want to pay optics planet, then call mako, have them call optics plant, and then call optics planet, and then call back mako, and have three days to do all this. then buy through optics planet. otherwise buy fom mako or local. hte extra $20 is worth the money. Pros: The product Cons: The company

Durable fore grip!!
This is a very durable addition to any weapon. The only problem if any I have had with it is when you press the buttons to release the bipod it is quite loud which if predator hunting can be a problem and if mud gets where the two legs meet they don't wanna close very well. Great for using on rocky areas or dry areas though. I would stoll recommend this product though just because 9/10 situations where you would use this it is great!
