Great First Red Dot for a CCW Gun
As someone newer to optics on pistols, this was a great starting point. Installation was stress-free, the sight picture was intuitive, and the brightness settings mean I always have a dot I can see. I trained a bunch after adding this and felt a noticeable boost in confidence.

Excellent for the Price Point
I’ve used higher-end optics before, but for what this costs it performs really well. The clarity is good, buttons are easy to cycle through brightness settings, and the mount stays solid. Great improvement over irons and a sweet upgrade to a carry pistol.
-
Crisp Optic for Defensive Training
Used this on a defensive class range day and was very pleased. The sight was easy to pick up in transitions and the dot didn’t fade or blur under sunlight. It’s simple, reliable, and does exactly what I expect a red dot to do on my EZ.
-
Mount Plate Fit Perfect, No Gunsmith Needed
I honestly thought I’d have to pay someone to install a red dot mount on my pistol slide, but this kit made it super easy. The plate slipped into the dovetail as described, and once tightened everything sat flush and secure. Took it out for several hundred rounds and it’s still rock solid.

Made My Shield EZ More Practical
Before this sight, I was always second-guessing shots at anything but close range. With the dot, my confidence jumped. I practiced drawing and immediate engagement, and the sight picture was clear and responsive. Not the fanciest red dot, but perfect for my needs.
-
Easy to Use, Bright Dot
I wasn’t expecting much from a budget optic, but the RD3-009 was surprisingly solid. The motion awake feature means it doesn’t drain battery if it sits unused for a week, and the dot stays at the brightness level I left it at. On my 380 EZ it’s reliable and didn’t require any fancy tools to set up.

Practical and Solid Performance
Installed this on a clean afternoon in the workshop and then took it straight to the range. Easily saw improvement in speed and accuracy. Dot brightness was good enough under all light conditions I tested. Definitely made an inexpensive, reliable carry gun even better.

Nice Crisp Dot Sight for My 380 EZ
I shoot multiple pistols, but putting a red dot on my 380 EZ was always something I wanted. This Ade Advanced Optics sight isn’t a name brand, but the dot stayed bright and clear even in bright daylight. Setup took maybe 20 minutes, and once I dialed it in it stayed put.
-
Great Budget Option for Everyday Carry Gun
For the price, I didn’t expect a super premium optic, but this one actually works really solidly. The mount holds firm on my EZ — zero hasn’t moved after several range sessions. It’s simple, not flashy, but gets the job done well and makes shooting recreationally much more enjoyable.

Easy Upgrade That Made a Big Difference
This was my first pistol red dot, and I was a little nervous about mounting it. The plate fit perfectly into the dovetail, and after tightening everything down I was ready to go. The sight picture is crisp with the small dot, and after a few adjustments I was hitting targets I used to miss all the time.
-
Perfect Match for My 380 EZ
Wanted a simple red dot on my Shield 380 EZ without costing a fortune, and this hit the mark. Came with everything I needed, and once zeroed it stayed there through cleanup and transport. I’ve shot this pistol tons, and it’s made grouping so much easier even at modest distances.

Huge Confidence Boost on My Shield EZ
I picked up this RD3-009 combo for my Shield EZ after years of just using irons. Installation was pretty straightforward — swapped out the rear sight and bolted the plate and dot right on. First range day with it and I was honestly amazed at how fast I could pick up the dot, especially on moving steel. It’s not a super expensive optic, but for defensive carry it’s more than enough.

Update - Review
The product is impressively lightweight and incredibly easy to install, making it a convenient choice for anyone. I utilize it on my concealed carry firearm, enhancing both my comfort and confidence in carrying. I would recommend it for a first-time user.
