This is exactly the type of product I was hoping someone would make. Instead of buying an entirely new optics-ready pistol, I was able to upgrade the handgun I already trust. The mounting plate fit perfectly, the Delta PRO optic has bright, crisp reticles, and the automatic sleep with Motion Awake feature helps maximize battery life. The lens has excellent clarity with very little tint, and the housing feels surprisingly robust. I especially like the top-loading CR2032 battery because I never have to remove the optic or worry about losing my zero during battery changes. After several range trips and roughly 1,200 rounds, everything is still tight and shooting exactly where it should. This is one of the best upgrades I've made to my Shield EZ.

The optic itself appears to be well built and functions properly. My disappointment came from assuming this would install in just a few minutes. Removing the factory rear sight required tools I didn't own, so I ended up having my local gunsmith install everything.
