Exactly What I Needed
Mounted it on my PT709. Zeroed quickly, holds zero, bright dot, no complaints. Excellent value for the money.

Great Value Compared to More Expensive Brands
I've owned Holosun, Vortex and Burris optics over the years, so I wasn't expecting miracles at this price. What surprised me was how solid this little sight feels. The housing is aluminum, the controls are positive, and the top-loading battery is a huge convenience. I mounted it on my Taurus TX22 and mainly use it for steel challenge practice. After several range trips and well over 1,000 rounds of .22 LR, the optic is still holding zero. The glass has remained clear and I haven't experienced any flickering. Is it exactly the same as a $300 optic? No. Is it close enough for recreational shooting and training that I don't regret buying it? Absolutely. I actually ordered a second one for another pistol after using this one for a few months.

Nice Optic, Installation Was Harder Than Expected
The optic itself seems well made and the dot is bright enough even on sunny days. My complaint is really about the installation. Removing the factory rear sight on my Taurus G3 took much more effort than I expected and I eventually had to borrow a sight pusher from a friend. I also wish the instructions had a few more pictures for first-time installers. Once mounted it works well, but I don't think this is the best choice for someone with zero experience working on pistol slides.

Customer Service Saved the Day
One of the mounting screws I received wasn't the correct length for my pistol. I emailed customer support and they mailed replacement screws within a couple of days. Once everything fit correctly, installation was easy and the optic has worked flawlessly. Great customer service makes a big difference.

Worth Taking Your Time to Install
I wouldn't call this a "drop on in five minutes" upgrade. You need to read the instructions carefully and take your time removing the rear sight. Once I got everything installed correctly, it turned out great. The glass is surprisingly clear with very little tint. The 6 MOA dot is perfect for defensive shooting distances and is much easier for my eyes to acquire than a smaller dot. I've put roughly 600 rounds through my PT111 G2 over the last few months without losing zero. The battery has also lasted longer than I expected. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone wanting an affordable optic setup.

Excellent Upgrade for My G2C
I installed this on my Taurus G2C after debating between several budget optics. The fit was exactly as described, and everything needed for installation was included in the package. After about 400 rounds, it has stayed zeroed and the dot is easy to pick up. For under $100, I'm honestly impressed. I'd definitely buy another one for my second Taurus.

Hundreds of Rounds Later, Still Running Strong
I don't usually write reviews this long, but this optic has earned one. I originally bought it because I wasn't ready to spend $300-$400 on a red dot for my Taurus G3. My expectations were honestly pretty low. I figured if it lasted a few months I'd be satisfied. Installation took around 40 minutes because I cleaned the slide thoroughly and used blue thread locker on all the screws. I followed the instructions exactly and let everything cure overnight before heading to the range. The first trip was about 150 rounds. I zeroed it in less than one magazine. Since then I've taken the pistol through several practice sessions and estimate I'm somewhere around 900 rounds total. It has stayed zero the entire time. The glass is cleaner than I expected, the dot remains crisp even during bright afternoons, and I really appreciate not having to remove the optic just to replace the battery. The included cover actually fits well enough that I leave it on whenever the pistol is in the safe. For anyone looking for an affordable optic setup for a Taurus without spending several hundred dollars, I think this package is hard to beat. I'd purchase it again without hesitation.

Wanted to Love It But Had Some Issues
The optic looks nice and the included mounting plate fit my G2C correctly. Unfortunately I could never get completely comfortable with the brightness controls. I also found the window a little smaller than I expected, so finding the dot during quick draws took more practice than with another optic I own. Nothing is actually broken, but it just wasn't the right optic for me. I ended up moving it to a range gun instead of my carry pistol.

Worth Every Dollar
I've been shooting for over twenty years and normally stick with more expensive optics, but I wanted an affordable setup for my Taurus G2. This package exceeded my expectations. The machining on both the optic and the mounting plate looks clean, the glass has very little distortion, and the controls are simple. I really like that the brightness setting stays where I left it after turning the sight back on. After zeroing, I shot steel, paper, and a local club match over several weekends without needing any adjustments. It's not pretending to be a $400 optic, but it doesn't need to be. For a range gun, training pistol, or someone buying their first pistol red dot, I think this is one of the better values available. I'd purchase another one without hesitation.

Good Optic, Tough Installation
I should have listened to the recommendation about professional installation. Removing the factory rear sight was much harder than I expected, and I ended up scratching my slide slightly trying to do it myself. After finally getting everything installed, the optic actually works well. The brightness is good and the dot is visible even outdoors. My complaint isn't really about the optic itself—it's that this isn't a beginner DIY project. If I had paid a gunsmith from the start, I probably would have been much happier.

Brandon Phillips
This turned my TX22 into an incredibly fun range pistol. The dot is easy to acquire and my groups immediately tightened up. Everything I needed came in the package, including screws and tools. For anyone thinking about getting into pistol optics without spending several hundred dollars, this is a great starting point.

Plate Needed More Fitting
The optic itself seems decent, but my mounting plate wasn't quite as snug as I expected on my pistol. I had to spend some time fitting it before everything lined up the way I wanted. Once installed it worked okay, but I wish the fit had been better out of the box. Customer service did answer my questions, so I appreciate that. Overall, not terrible, just more work than I expected.

Hundreds of Rounds Later
I've owned quite a few pistol optics over the years, including some that cost three times as much. I wasn't expecting this setup to compete with premium brands, but I wanted something affordable for my Taurus PT111 G2 range gun. After several months of use, I'm honestly impressed. The mounting plate seated properly after the rear sight was removed, and I followed the torque recommendation along with blue thread locker. I let everything cure overnight before heading to the range. Zeroing only took a few magazines. Since then I've put somewhere around 800 rounds through the pistol. The optic has stayed solid, brightness adjustments still work normally, and the dot remains crisp for my eyes. I especially appreciate that the battery loads from the top. Every other budget optic I've owned required removing the sight to change batteries, which meant confirming zero again afterward. That alone makes this optic worth considering. If you install it correctly and understand it's designed for compatible Taurus models, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Nice Budget Upgrade
For under a hundred bucks this is hard to complain about. Mounted it on my original Taurus G3 (not the newer steel rear sight version) and it fit correctly. The glass is clear and the 6 MOA dot is quick to pick up. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that installation isn't something I'd recommend for beginners. If you've never drifted a rear sight before, pay someone to do it. Once installed though, it's been reliable for several hundred rounds.

Better Than I Expected
I bought this for my husband's Taurus TX22 as a birthday gift. Neither of us had used a red dot before, so I was a little nervous. The instructions were clear enough that we understood how everything went together, although we still had a gunsmith install the plate. The dot is bright, easy to adjust, and made target shooting much more enjoyable. The battery being accessible from the top is one of those little features you don't appreciate until you've owned optics that require removal just to change batteries. We've gone through several range trips already and everything is still tight. Very happy with this purchase.
-
Perfect Match for My G2C
Installed this on my Taurus G2C and it fit exactly as described. I had a local gunsmith press the rear sight out and the rest was straightforward. The top-loading battery is a huge advantage since I don't have to remove the optic every time I replace it. After about 350 rounds the zero hasn't shifted. Great value for the price.
-
Not exactly
Not exactly what I thought I was going to get based off the YouTube channel video I watched. The construction is good quality but the sight picture is pretty hard to get the red dot in picture. Also tye windage and elevation screws do not lock so it doesn't stay on zero. Overall not very satisfied for the money I paid for it

Counter-sunk Single-point, Phillips-head could be an issue on the G2C rear sight mount installation.
The ADE RD3-006A1 GREEN DOT sight, itself, appeared fairly accurate and the overall installation was fairly easy in accordance with the provided instructions, including removal of the Picatinny mounting plate. The issues encountered came with: 1) Not holding zero: Upon checking that the Optic was securely in place, after installing the "anti-vibration shim between the EPS and the G2C mount plate (according to the instructions) the forward section of the sight still had a slight "left and right" movement once secured and torqued in place. This occurred even after even after the G2C plate (single-point) Phillips head mounting screw had been torqued to the required 12 in./lbs. Holding Zero under these circumstances is highly questionable. 2) Removing the device resulted, in difficulty in removing the pistol optic plate. The single point, counter-sunk Phillips head screw, almost started to "strip" during extraction. Care had to be exercised by every-so-slowly turning the screw to finally remove it. 3) The G2C mount plate was not a "press fit" or "snug fit" into the G2C rear sight mount. It appeared fairly loose! 4) Finally, the response as to why someone might see a "splashed dot, or Starburst was spot on!

For beginners
If you know how to order replacement screws for the plate(smallest order is 50), use loctite and never edc with it, it’ll last forever. Holding zero is out of the question, best for plinking. Best for beginners that are learning maintenance habits before getting that sig sauer conversation piece. On/off/cycle button becomes unreliable after a couple years. You get what you pay for, for the price I was impressed. Maintenance and abuse are the determining factors.

Easy to install
I will definitely buy other attachments from this seller. I love how they provided everything necessary to install this piece. Even down to the instructions were spot on. I had never did this before but it was easy to do. It also beat paying a gun shop $30 to put it on!
-
Great product
This optic works very well and holds zero if installed and used properly. I was able to zero it in at 30 feet with only 3 shots and it held that exact point of impact for over 300 rounds of shooting that day. I am extremely impressed for the price.

Green dot
Fit well after I had to go get a correct mounting screw for my g2c. Otherwise excellent unit for the price. Will be buying a second one for my wife's Taurus.
