Reliable Season After Season
I've owned several inexpensive refractometers over the years, and this one has become my favorite. The body feels heavier than some of the generic versions I've purchased online, and the focusing ring is smoother as well. What impressed me most is how easy the scale is to read outdoors. During grape harvest I'm constantly moving between rows taking measurements, and bright sunlight has never been an issue. The carrying case keeps everything protected in my truck, and I appreciate having the pipette and calibration screwdriver included. Over the past harvest season I've probably taken hundreds of readings. The instrument has stayed accurate, survived plenty of bumps, and has become one of those tools I never leave behind when checking the vineyard.
