AR15 A2 Stock Buttstock with buffer tube assembly

After comparing several fixed-stock options for my .308 rifle, I decided to try this complete assembly because it included everything I needed in one package. I'm glad I did. Installation was simple thanks to the well-machined receiver extension and properly fitting hardware. The stock itself feels sturdy without adding unnecessary weight, and the storage compartment is a nice bonus for keeping small maintenance items. Once installed, the rifle immediately felt more balanced and offered a much more consistent cheek weld than my previous adjustable stock. The rifle-length system is also appreciated by many shooters for its simple A2-style installation and solid fixed-stock design. After several hundred rounds at the range, nothing has loosened, cycling has remained reliable, and the stock still looks nearly new. For anyone building a traditional AR-10 or LR-308 style rifle, I think this complete A2 stock assembly offers an excellent combination of quality, reliability, and value.

The only downside was that a couple of the smaller components were moving around inside the package during shipping, which caused a few light cosmetic marks. Functionally everything is excellent, but improved packaging would make it even better.

The quality appears very good, but I accidentally ordered this for the wrong configuration. That was completely my mistake, but buyers should double-check that they're purchasing the .308 rifle-length version instead of an AR-15 kit because the components are different

The polymer stock feels rigid, the buffer tube threads were clean, and all the included components fit together without any issues. This is a nice complete assembly that saved me from sourcing parts individually. The stock finish looks great, the hardware fit correctly, and installation was straightforward. I deducted one star only because I'd like to see printed torque specifications included for first-time builders. Otherwise, it's an excellent value.

The stock itself is nice. Similar to most on the market now. Priced well. Have a gripe- buffer jumps over the retainer . Have to remove stock and tube to separate upper from lower receiver

Stock and tube are of decent quality. Didn't like the attachment screw so I replaced. Buffer is clunky, and was difficult to keep in tube under the spring pressure. Replaced the pop up pin, helped problem. Think buffer body beveled a bit too much. But I like the stock body and tube . Spring seems ok.

Came with everything I needed for a new build. Installation was simple. Can't complain about it at all

Received my a2 butt stock very quickly which is a plus these days with gun parts being hard to find. BUT when I installed the stock I noticed that the included spacer was not acting as a spacer, it was rattling forward and backward. To fix this problem I had to find a washer that would fit to take up the last of the space to stop the rattling.

this claims to be an “assembly” but it doesn’t include the spacer or the bolt with a pre drilled hole required to actually assemble this “assembly” so then you have to spend an extra $15 to buy the required parts to mount the stock to the buffer tube. The parts that arrive are good quality, but it doesn’t include everything you need and should clearly state that it’s not a complete “assembly”

I built a ar and put a 24inch fluted bull barrel on it and had an adjustable stock withers a standard buffer It shot great but after installing the a1 buttstock with the extended buffer it shoots so much smoother and I feel like there is no recoil or like a 22lr the gun is 13lbs so its heavy but shoots so smooth

Lots of mold flash on product. Trap door latch is plastic not metal. Overall quality is not up to mil-spec.

these are a great reproduction of the original, color looks gray on computer, but is black and a great match to the 2 built so far. these are my go-to stock for retro rifle builds, starting my 3rd, never disappointing.

Best A2 stock for the money, I've built two rifles so far, and two more to go... the only A2 stock I will use, period.

I have used two of these so far, and will be doing 2 more very soon. These non adjustable stocks mitigate what little recoil there is, and provide the perfect cheek-weld for scope use (for me personally) or iron sights. My 1st build I used this on, is a 18" barreled AR-15 in 350 Legend w/17" hand-guard, the 2nd build is an 18" barreled 223 Wylde, with a 15" hand-guard. These stocks are comfortable, and the storage space will easily accommodate a bore snake and sight tool, maybe a small oil bottle too !
