There are plenty of aftermarket parts that promise better performance without delivering much improvement. This buffer isn't one of them. Installation was straightforward, and from the very first magazine I noticed smoother cycling and less perceived recoil. The additional weight gives the rifle a much more refined feel without sacrificing reliability. I've used this setup during weekly range sessions for several months and have fired well over 2,500 rounds. The buffer still looks excellent, continues to function perfectly, and has become one of the upgrades I'd recommend first to anyone tuning a PCC.
