9mm Extended Length Buffer, 4" Long and Heavy 6.0 OZ, Stainless Steel

The buffer itself deserves five stars. Heavy, well machined, and fits perfectly. I'm only giving four stars because I wish the package included a small instruction sheet explaining which setups this extended buffer is intended for. Once installed, it has worked flawlessly.

Dropped it into my AR9 and headed to the range. Everything cycled perfectly, recoil is softer, and the rifle feels more controlled during rapid fire. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I was chasing reliability problems with my 9mm AR for weeks. I had occasional failures to feed and the bolt seemed to cycle much faster than it should. After reading recommendations about using a heavier extended buffer, I decided to give this one a try. The difference was immediate. The heavier 6-ounce weight slowed the action enough that feeding became much more consistent. Ejection also became more predictable, and recoil felt less abrupt. I've now fired roughly 1,500 rounds using several different brands of factory ammunition, and the rifle has been completely reliable. For anyone putting together a blowback AR9, this buffer is an excellent upgrade that delivers real improvements rather than just cosmetic changes.

The stainless finish looks great and the machining is very clean. No rough edges or burrs anywhere. It fit my standard carbine buffer tube perfectly, and my blowback 9mm cycles much softer now. Definitely worth the upgrade.

This 6 oz buffer completely changed how my AR9 shoots. Recoil feels noticeably smoother and the bolt movement is much more controlled than with the lightweight buffer I originally installed. Installation took less than five minutes, and reliability has been flawless through about 700 rounds.
