Worth every penny
Simple product, simple installation, and it solved the exact problem I bought it for. My Arlo camera no longer gets blasted by afternoon sun. Would definitely buy again.

Does the job with a little planning
I like the quality of the plastic and it feels much sturdier than I expected. Just make sure you test your camera angle before tightening everything down because if your camera points upward too much, the edge of the shield can appear in the image. Once I adjusted mine, everything worked perfectly. Looks clean and professional.

Excellent protection through every season
I installed this over a Ring camera that's mounted on the south side of my garage where it gets direct afternoon sun. The camera used to get so hot that I couldn't even touch it in the summer. After adding this shield, the camera stays noticeably cooler and the glare is much less during sunset. Installation took maybe 10 minutes. We've also had a few heavy rainstorms since then and the lens stays much cleaner than before. It won't stop wind-driven rain completely, but it definitely reduces how often I need to wipe the lens. Very happy with this purchase.
