Wanted to update my 20 year old G23. This did the trick without breaking the bank. Love this old gun again. Ran flawlessly with my 9mm conversion barrels and my KKM match grade .40 cal barrel. I would recommend this slide.

The slide looks to be well-made, although a little squared/angular in design compared to the original Glock slide. The finish is nice, and all of the parts including the firing pin and extractor fit nicely into the slide. The fit was a little tight on the Glock pistol frame, but I would expect it to loosen up with some lubrication after a few rounds have been fired (I have not yet fired the pistol with this slide). I have not yet ordered an RMR sight, so I cannot comment on the fitup other than the cover plate is as expected. Overall, not a bad deal considering you'll pay the same price or more to have your factory Glock slide machined and refinished. I'm excited to get a sight on this thing and take it to the range!

Good quality product, finish is good, decent weight to the slide assembly, went together perfectly with my OE G23 parts. RMR cut was perfect, my optic sits great, no play. Issue with cycling where the barrel isn't clearing the slide, causing a malfunction and not allowing the ammo to feed properly. Will have to have the slide milled down a hair to clear the cycle/battery issue. Hopefully this is just a fluke. Still planning on using it.

I put the ade G23 slide on a Lonewolf Timberwolf compact frame. It looks really nice. I will include a photograph if the review allows it. I completed it with a Lonewolf G32 barrel for .357 sig and Meprolight tritiated sights. I will add a Streamlight and Trijicon red dot later. The fit is excellent. It’s light weight and carries comfortably, like a Glock 19. The slide or frame must be slightly different than a G19 because it fits well in a Tenicor G17 holster already in my inventory. The retention is great even though there is a little space between the muzzle and the distal end of the holster. The TacFire on the Timberwolf cycles three different types of ammunition (two flat nose FMJ, one JHP) flawlessly with no break in period. I haven’t shot it at longer ranges, but the accuracy is great within 7 yards. I thought it would have serious recoil with .357 sig in such a light pistol, but it’s not bad. The frame was on sale and with the great price on this TacFire slide, the total build came in about $100 cheaper than a factory Glock for what might be a better pistol.

F.Y.I. I have not been to the range yet. I had a slide parts kit I purchased a long while back. I assembled the slide all went well. Until i dropped the barrel in. My stock 40 barrel would get stuck around the barrel chamber area when inserted into the slide. I have to exert a little force to get the stock barrel out of the slide which concerned me. Now with that I also have a Lone Wolf 40 to 9 conversion barrel. The Lone Wolf conversion barrel fits perfectly. The new slide and conversion barrel assembly looks awesome and seem to operate perfectly. I hope I still have good feelings after the I go to the range.

First glock upgrade. Looks sick, super light and slaps right on. Great for price.

Decent aftermarket slide but I don’t trust it to do everyday carry yet. My Glock 23 never had a misfire till I put this slide on it now every once in a while I get a light strike or the trigger doesn’t reset completely. That being said it did come with a cut out for the vortex venom red dot which is a huge bonus. It also came with the channel liner for the firing pin pre installed so that’s one less thing to worry with. Maybe after 100 rounds or so it’ll lose the hiccups and can be a reliable edc slide but till then it’s a range toy.

It’s lighter than the original and looks better with the serrated sides. Good choice if using a red dot sight compared to original Glock slide that doesn’t provide an optic cut. The vortex viper it’s a perfect fit and looks good. I recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their Glock slide. Resembles a little like the shadow systems mr920

This G23 slide by ade was an addition to my parts build list. Been compiling a list of items since last year. This slide was purchased 22 Nov 25. Took my time choosing the other items. I finally got it put together. It’s got smooth operation… it’s got much appeal. Just ordered more items to add to the functionality and looks. At some point will need a few magazines for test firing. Recommend others purchase. Will be more than satisfied with craftsmanship, looks, and durability. All that for a fraction of the competition’s price. Each of my purchases have given me a great discount for each subsequent purchase. Even started getting upgrades for my .300Blk purchase.

Fit and finish of this slide is good and all original parts went together well. The cut outs give the slide an aggressive look and the grip serrations are very effective. This came as a package with the Vortex Venom Red Dot and they look good together. The Venom was a tight fit as I had to work into place in the slide cut which was a snug fit once seated. I haven’t shot it yet so can’t speak to the functionality but I do like the look.

Bought this for my G23. Put 200rds thru it and everything went well no malfunction. Still don’t know why people said negative things about it. Just make sure use OEM Glock upper parts. Little bit paint chipping at ejector other than that it good.

so, I like this slide so far I also put mostly stock parts in the slide though all springs a basically stock oem except the trigger bar from ghost. its a 3.5 connector and everything is polished i have had no issues at all there has been a bit of wear on the slide near the tip from holster and the slide is only month old but I train daily.

I bought this slide building my 23 up and there isn’t much for gen 4-5 so to find a great price on a optic cut slide was amazing I was excited to get the slide and it didn’t disappoint it looks great great color match amazing design and very light. For my next build I’m buying another one of these slides you will not regret the buy

Used factory Glock 23 gen3 internals and lubricated well. Haven’t had a single problem. My only complaint is the Finnish in the slide. After a good day at the range the coating is starting to chip from the corners.

When I first read through the reviews I was a little hesitant to purchase this slide. For the price point it was a bargain. I moved over the the factory Glock 23 gen3 assembly to the new slide and made sure everything was well lubricated. I have since put 300 rounds down range without a single feed problem or light strike. Would absolutely purchase again.

This slide was exactly what i was looking for. The optic cut was perfect fit and completely changed the look and feel of my 19x. I will be buying another for my next build.

This slide not only looks great but also feels great as well as budget friendly. Build quality was good. Took a little file fitting to get barrel to fit though. Some minor flashing had to be knocked down but nothing major. 10 mins with a small file and it fit perfectly.

I first ordered version 1 but that same evening came across this one & it was a "Blazin Deal". So I phoned the next morning & got a very helpful fellow who cancelled my prior order & put in an order for this one. Four days later I had it in my hand. First time I purchased an FDE & loved the contrast. It appears very well manufactured & nicely Anodized. Watched a how to video & easily moved the components from my Glock slide. Mounted my Vortex red dot which fits like a glove. Bore sighted it & took it to the Range. It performed well, was on target, & cycled flawlessly. I opted not to install hard sights as I only plan to use it at the Range.

So far I'm very pleased and very excited to use it. Just wish it wasn't stripped. It would've been nice if it at least came with the striker assembly. Not so much worried about the sights. Other than that it's a nice upgrade.
