The Glock mounting plate replaces the factory rear sight dovetail on all standard non-MOS Glock models, as well as selected Taurus and Canik pistols. This plate provides a secure base for popular red dot sights by replacing the rear iron sight.

The Glock plate also fits Taurus GX4, G3C, and G3 with factory steel sights because the rear sight dovetail of these Taurus models and Glock are exactly the same. Taurus designed these dovetails based on Glock’s rear sight specifications. However, other Taurus models such as G2, G2C, TX22, PT111, and some G3 versions have different dovetail dimensions and require a different mounting plate.

This mounting plate is not compatible with Glock MOS (optics ready) models or Glock pistols with aftermarket optic cuts.

If you have an aftermarket Glock slide, please consult the slide manufacturer about the optic cut used and contact us to confirm compatibility.

For Glock MOS models, you will need the official Glock-provided #01 or #05 mounting plate (available for free from Glock) to attach the red dot directly. You do not need this mounting plate designed to replace the rear sight on standard Glocks.
