What It Solves:
When users are unable to bring the dot low enough due to limited elevation adjustment—this shim lifts the optic slightly to provide additional downward travel for the dot, solving a common "maxed-out elevation screw" issue without returning or replacing the optic. -

Does the job, it just works.
Fixes a simple problem . . . with a little patience to exact fitment it works perfectly.

Worked fine after mods
As many noted, the holes didn't line up. I elongated them with a round file to fit. Worked fine after that.

Solved my problems with elevation on my red dot
This shim solved my red dot problems 100% . Fitted on my p226 and it worked right out the box.

Works as described on Vortex Venom
Worked as described on Vortex Venom mounted on a Stevens 301 20 gauge. Slight trimming with a pocket knife needed but no big deal.

Good fix but fit could be better
Quick, easy fix when out of adjustment on a red dot. The fit wasn’t quite right but a small trim of post hole cutout had it fit.

Good product for handgun mount elevation correction
Works great, only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the 4 alignment holes do not line up exactly to the sight/plate, once held in place and tightened down, no problems! All in all, great product and inexpensive fix!

Fixed my issue, although shim holes needed to be modified slightly
Worked as advertised to modify the point of impact. I had to elongate the placement holes slightly so that it laid flat on the plate.

Shim requires a bit of modification but serves its purpose
Does not fit alignment pins as holes are too wide apart of shim. Had make holes oblong toward each other by about 1mm. It functions after modification of plactic shim. Vortex Viper open battery older model functions fine as contacts are internal to optic.

Nice despite a minor flaw
Moved the butt end of my Venom red dot just enough to get the additional adjustment i needed. Problem came with the holes that match up with the mount posts, they were about 1mm too close to each other from front to back. Fixed it with a knife, but would be nice if it just dropped in without having to mess around with it.

Helpful Product
This plate helped solve my elevation issues I was having with a Burris Fastfire on a Rossi 92. I had to oval the front holes to make it sit flat on the base. No problem with the other (more important) holes and it went on as designed. Good product!!!
