Ade Advanced Optics RD3-006 Green Dot Sight + Optic Mounting Plate for Sig Sauer P320-X5 Pistol

I've been using this setup almost every weekend for the past several months. I purposely waited before reviewing because I wanted to see how well it would actually perform over time instead of judging it immediately after installation. The optic has remained perfectly reliable. The green dot is crisp, brightness levels cover everything from indoor lighting to bright summer afternoons, and the glass has very little tint. I especially appreciate that the complete kit includes both the optic and the dedicated mounting plate, eliminating any guesswork about compatibility. Most importantly, nothing has worked loose. The mounting plate still feels rock solid, zero has remained unchanged, and the controls continue to operate smoothly. I would absolutely purchase this package again.

The optic works well once everything is installed, but I underestimated how involved the installation process would be. The plate requires more slide disassembly than I expected, and I eventually decided to have a local gunsmith complete the installation. I wish the product page emphasized that more clearly. The finished result is good, but it wasn't nearly as simple as I originally thought

The optic itself seems very well made. Unfortunately I didn't realize there are multiple X5 slide variations. Mine wasn't compatible because I failed to read the compatibility list carefully. Customer support helped me identify the correct model, so this was mostly my mistake rather than a product issue.

After several months of regular range use, I've experienced absolutely no issues with the optic or the mounting plate. Everything remains tight, zero has stayed exactly where I left it, and the finish still looks nearly new. Considering the overall quality and the fact that it's sold as a complete package, I honestly think this represents one of the better values available for the P320 X5 platform.

The green dot is noticeably easier for me to see in bright daylight compared to several red dots I've owned. The window is clear, adjustments tracked correctly during zeroing, and the included mounting plate fit my X5 without any modification. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the battery is located underneath the optic, meaning you have to remove it when replacing the battery. Fortunately battery life has been good so far.

I liked that everything I needed came in one package. The optic, mounting plate, hardware, and tools were all included, which made the purchase much easier than buying everything separately. Installation went smoothly, the plate fit exactly as described, and the green dot is much easier for my eyes to pick up than a traditional red dot. Very happy with the purchase.
