Simple but Effective Upgrade
This isn’t a flashy product, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It provides a stable platform for mounting optics, and once installed, you don’t really have to think about it again. It’s a simple upgrade that makes a big difference.
-
Check Your Receiver First
The base works great, but make sure your shotgun has the proper mounting holes. Some older models may not be pre-drilled. Once I confirmed mine had the correct setup, installation was smooth and everything worked perfectly.
-
Makes Adding Accessories Easy
Before installing this, I didn’t have an easy way to mount anything on my shotgun. Now I can add a red dot or other accessories without any hassle. The Picatinny design makes it compatible with a wide range of attachments.
-
Good Quality Material
The rail feels solid and well made. It doesn’t feel like cheap metal, and the finish looks clean. Once installed, it gives confidence that it will hold up over time.
-
Fits My Mossberg 535 Perfectly
I installed this on a Mossberg 535, and everything lined up just like it should. These models share similar receiver designs, so compatibility wasn’t an issue. Mossberg 500 family receivers are known for standardized mounting points, and this base matches that well.
-
Holds Tight Under Use
After installing it properly with threadlocker, it hasn’t loosened at all. I’ve checked it multiple times, and it stays exactly where it should. That reliability is important for something that supports optics.
-
Great Upgrade Without Spending Much
I didn’t want to invest too much into upgrades, but this turned out to be one of the most useful additions I’ve made. It gives you the ability to mount optics without spending a lot, which makes it a very practical upgrade.
-
Clean Look and Low Profile
What I like about this base is that it doesn’t look bulky. It sits low on the receiver and keeps the overall setup looking clean. It doesn’t feel like something added on top—it feels integrated.
-
Solid Platform for Optics
After installing this rail, I mounted a red dot and tested it over several sessions. Everything stayed in place, and the optic held zero without any issues. A good mount makes all the difference, and this one does its job well.
-
Easy Install Even for First Time
I was a bit nervous installing this since I hadn’t done it before, but it turned out to be really simple. Just a few screws, and it mounted right onto the receiver. Within minutes, I had it installed and ready to go.
-
Perfect Fit on My Mossberg 500
This base lined up perfectly with the receiver holes on my Mossberg 500. I didn’t have to adjust anything or force it into place. Once tightened down, it felt rock solid with no movement at all, which is exactly what you want from a mounting platform.

Turned My Shotgun Into a Completely Different Setup
I originally bought this just to try mounting a red dot, but after installing it, it honestly changed the whole setup. The rail sits clean on top, and once the optic was mounted, it felt like a completely different experience. Targeting became much quicker, and everything felt more modern and practical.
