Great for budget builds
If you’re trying to run an optic on an APX without spending a fortune on slide milling, this is the way to go. Solid aluminum, good finish, and it does the job.

First time mounting a red dot – learned a lot
I’m fairly new to handgun optics, so this was my first time installing a mounting plate. At first I thought it would be plug-and-play, but quickly realized it takes a bit more effort, especially removing the rear sight and getting everything aligned. Once I got past that, the HM21 plate actually made things pretty straightforward. The machining is clean, and once seated in the dovetail, it felt snug right away. I mounted a 507C and followed torque specs with blue Loctite. After a couple range sessions, I’m happy to say everything is holding zero perfectly. For a beginner like me, this ended up being a great learning experience—and a solid product.

Works exactly as advertised
No surprises here. It fits, it holds the optic, and it doesn’t move. That’s really all I wanted. Would buy again.

Held zero through a long weekend
Put about 600 rounds through my APX full size after installing this with an RMR clone. No shifting, no loosening. Used blue Loctite as recommended and torqued properly. Very impressed.

Good plate but be ready for install
Plate itself is great quality and fits tight, but installation is not beginner-level. You’ll need proper tools and patience. Once installed, though, it’s rock solid.

Simple, solid, no drama
Installed this on my APX Compact with a Holosun 407C. Took maybe 15 minutes. Everything lined up perfectly and feels secure. No complaints.

Nice Fit, Wish Instructions Were Better
The mount is solid and did its job well once installed. Wish they included a simple instruction sheet — I had to watch a few videos online to make sure I was torquing screws correctly. That said, it performs exactly as it should.

A Must-Have for APX Optic Users
If you own an APX and want a red dot on it, this plate is what you are looking for. Very precise CNC work, no play between plate and slide after install. Great upgrade for duty or competition.

Range Ready in No Time
Installation was quick with a punch and small wrench. Mounted my dot and was range ready in under 20 minutes. Zero held spot-on all afternoon. Would definitely buy again if I change pistols.

Almost Perfect
Plate itself is great — nice machining, firm fit. My only gripe is the finish could be a little smoother on the edges (minor). Works like a champ with my RMR clone.

Great Value for the Price
Compared to other adapter plates I’ve seen, this one is priced extremely well. Fit with multiple dots I have on hand, too. Would love clearer specs on included hardware, but otherwise great buy.

Reliable, Heavy-Duty Feel
This HM21 feels like it’s built right — heavy-duty aluminum, no rattles. Fitment on my APX full size was excellent, and after 500+ rounds I haven’t seen any loosening. Highly recommend for shooters wanting consistent performance.

Solid Plate — Clear Instructions Needed
Good plate overall with nice finish and tight tolerances. Only downside was lack of clear instructions — spent a little too much time figuring out torque and thread locker. Once done, works perfectly.

Helps Me Shoot Faster!
After installing the HM21 and my red dot, my accuracy drastically improved at 15–25 yards. It’s extremely secure and doesn’t move at all under recoil. Makes picking up sights super quick. Worth the money for sure.

Good Quality, Just Needs the Right Screws
Mount is great and exactly what I needed for my Holosun 508T, but the included screws didn’t fit my optic — had to source the correct ones. Once I did, installation was smooth. Could be better if all screw sizes were included.

Sturdy but Took a Bit to Align
Plate itself is very solid and seems to be CNC machined well. I did spend a little extra time getting it perfectly centered before tightening screws. Once aligned, it held zero perfectly through recoil. Not a beginner install, but if you take your time it’s worth it.

Exactly What I Needed!
I had an older APX Compact and struggled to find a plate that fit. This one worked great with my Trijicon RMR footprint red dot. Instructions were minimal but straight-forward if you’ve ever done basic firearm mods. Super happy with the purchase and how rigid it feels on the slide.
