ADE is introducing all new APOLLO PRO(RD3-030PRO). This ADE APOLO PRO is designed to fit any pistol/mounting plate/slide/optic cut with RMS/RMSC screw pattern/footprint.
Equipped with Solar Power that allows the red dot sight to continue to be powered when your battery is out. The battery life can last up to 50,000 hours depending on settings.
The APOLLO PRO is designed for ultimate convenience and performance. It remains powered on at all times and features an advanced auto-dimming sensor that automatically adjusts the dot brightness to match changing ambient light conditions. Whether you're in bright sunlight or low-light environments, the APOLLO PRO ensures optimal visibility by dynamically increasing or decreasing brightness as needed.
ADE Apollo red dot sight is always powered on and features an auto-dimming sensor which regulates proper dot brightness based on ever changing ambient light conditions. Operates with a single CR2032 3v battery. With our advanced technology the sight only draws very minimum powers to give a very long battery life. The brightness will turn high and low accordingly to the environment brightness.

Ade Advanced Optics first made its appearance in the firearms accessory industry by doing private label production for several Major manufacturers and retailers. During this period, Ade Advanced Optics began receiving requests from numerous customers for access to the affordable, high quality products that Ade Advanced Optics was capable of producing. By soliciting feedback from both clients and end users in 2010, Ade Advanced Optics was able to overcome the challenges a new company often faces when entering a global market and industry, especially one as competitive as the shooting, hunting, and outdoors industry.

RD3-015 Zantitium, RD3-028 Ares fit plate(does NOT fit slide due to larger size) that is compatible with Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire/Doctor footprint. ADE Apollo RedDot
Certainly, the price is right. The only negative is the inability to adjust the brightness of the red dot. I like the two white dots on the rear sight. Easy to pick up target.
-
Good quality red dot sight with always on and solar power features
This red dot sight is a good quality sight with nice features. There is no on/off button or brightness button, it's all automatic. So far, the always on and auto-dimming features are working nicely. The solar power charging feature's something I'm not really sure about. I've never had a sight with these features so hopefully this sight won't disappoint me. It seems well made with a clear view window. So far I'm satisfied with the quality and performance of this sight.

Not as excited about this ADE optic as I am about others. Works fine, just not quite up to par.
Right out of the box I like the compact size of the RD3-030 Apollo-Pro and the solar power, but the square design is just too chunky for me and the solar panel could easily be contoured with the shape of the optic. Just weird, square and thick all around. The always on dot is adequately bright but there is some light bleed on other parts of the optic so it's not totally clean and is a bit distracting. With all that said, it is pretty inexpensive and you really get what you pay for in the optic game so for what it costs I think it's ok. Mounted up ok for me and seems to hold zero at least so far.

Good red dot
Simple to install, looks great on. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it takes the sensor a little while to register. But it’s a good budget friendly choice.
-
Could be better with a better pattern
I love this little guy for the solar panel on top. It runs without a battery and is motion activated. I would say that the motion activated part like the rest of their lineup i’ve used (three including this one) all are VERY sensitive to any movements. The solar panel really makes up for this though. No information on whether or not the battery gets charged from the panel whilst outside. I doubt it. It’s got a better body than some other red dots offered by ADE. They seem to be getting a foothold on the market as a new company though. The lens on this and every other ADE optic I have looks glued in which I wouldn’t pass off as being a bad thing I suppose. But the glue job doesn’t look great. Looks better than if I would have had a pass on it with some hot glue or super glue for that matter but still doesn’t look super great. At this price point though is this really a concern? Function over form here as long as the form doesn’t impede the function. The dot is very tiny which is nice when aiming at rather small objects but I do prefer a larger dot personally if this was mounted on a real pistol or something. Even a rifle. We have this mounted on a Daisy red ryder though so it’s plenty good enough for what we used it for. I can recommend as long as you’re aware of some of it’s downsides as it’s really not a horrible optic. It’s not the greatest one out there either. Lastly, the screws to adjust the position of the dot leave a bit to be desired. I don’t really need it to click in place every 1/16th turn or anything but yeah, the experience feels cheap and easy to move once you back the left to right screw out since it sticks out of the body pretty far. I’ll be keeping my eyes out for ADE though to improve on their quality in the future even if it comes at a price difference.

Windage and elevation screws don't click
Shoots good, holds zero, mounts nice, fit directly on my p322. Just wish the adjustment screws clicked
-
Ditto - Doesn’t fit Sig P365XL mount Completely
Great Red Dot, shoots with complete accuracy and clarity. Rough point is I had to also shave about a ~1 millimeter x 2 millimeter of the back edge to make it fit. Instructions don't mention you have to have gunsmith skills to mount it...Recommend the manufacturer remeasure for complete fit or remove advertised compatibility for the different models. Just for reference I purchased the Sig Sauer P365XL this year, latest model.

Fits hellcat pro
Mounted very easily to my Hellcat Pro. Dot is more or less clear (I have astigmatism apparently). However I have a slight gut and man oh man do the angles on this feel sharp after a while. You can get a good cowitness with these if you have the removable plate on your hellcat. I did about an hour of shooting, it appeared to hold zero. For the price, it's pretty good.

Edit : 11/18/24, the battery died so I put it in the windowsill. The solar function works! I'll still need to change the battery eventually but in a pinch it will work. With the always on function it has, I got just over a YEAR on one battery.

Great sight picture and easy to install
I put this on a S&W Equalizer. Had to purchase flat socket cap screws in 6-32x1/2 to fit the Equalizer. Easy install, adjusted red dot at 15 yards. Holds adjustment. Red dot adjusts according to ambient light. I like that the ADE has a large front glass. Put the cover over it when storing to conserve battery life. 50 rounds using it and is has not lost adjustment. Has two white dots to cowitness with front sight.
-
Good Optics and Accuracy
Very good optics. Clear. Good accuracy. Very durable, tough, sturdy. Super easy to set up and adjust. Very nice.
-
Good quality site for your average user
I'm not an professional user and my user is mainly range. The site is well made and does everything it claims. As your average plinker I like to try different sites and this one definitely falls in
-
Hubby approved
Hubby got this for his 357 Magnum and loved it. Says it's perfect and does what it is supposed to do. Also very easy to adjust. He loves the small size and that all you do is pick the gun up and it's activated without turning anything on. He highly recommends it.

Stays True
An inexpensive option for a red dot sight that is solar powered. The pistol I have it mounted on isn't compatible with the iron site feature of this sight but the red dot did zero and remained zeroed though out my testing. It is always on with out an on off switch. The battery is replaceable just be sure to purchase a like battery that can be recharged,

Good
Good for the price

On point site
Great quality sit that fits as it should. Easy to use and install has a long battery life and performs awesome!! Great value site.
-
Great value, great dot
I wanted a cheaper dot for a budget build. I like the ads brand so I chose this one. My thoughts: Pros: - has held up well for 300ish rounds - dot is bright and easy adjustable - nice sized window - built in rear sight Cons: - included screws are soft. Overall I’m very happy with this ade unit! You will be too! Great dot for the features!
-
Too small
Really nice red dot, but it’s too tight. Too small really I had to mill it out to make it fit.
-
Decent red dot
Decent red dot but the battery is bottom load so you have to remove the dot to replace the battery. I know this is somewhat common but at this point its just an outdated design. Aside from that, it seems solid and has held zero.
-
A very good quality Pistol reflex sight
Not cheap in price or in build quality. Has everything you need to install it on a plethora of mounts. But do check which pistol type and brand before purchase. The added solar panel to me is awesome, plus the fact it is always on. So just remove the rubber cover and your ready to shoot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solar power MOA optic
I've been looking at a red dot and didn't want to spend $400 on one with solar power. This did not fit my CZ P10C as it's too long but I'm going to give it a try on my Sig. 2 screws to mount it. Easy to adjust with elevation and windage. The dot shows up quickly and is easy to see.
-
First impressions are good
So it looks like I've got to invest in another slide just for this little Apollo. I already have several ADE optics, and the one I intended to replace with this, I just like too much to remove and swap. I'm a sucker for budget optics that have nice features that you pay a whole lot more for on the big names. Shake awake, top load batteries, and extra plates and screws for adaption. The glass is nice and clear, and the dot looks good through it, although it's hard to show that in a photo. I am highly looking forward to the solar charge test for this one, but mostly it will not be exposed to sunlight. Now just to find a home for it...

Perfect fit for multiple pistols
A great red dot sight for a variety of handguns, including as the Springfield Hellcat OSP/PRO, Sig P365XL Spectre Comp, Canik TP9 Elite SC, Mossberg MC2SC, and Kimber R7 Mako, is the Ade Advanced Optics RD3-030/APOLLO-PRO. This sight is unique in that its 4 MOA red dot is solar-powered and sensor-activated. It is perfect for a variety of shooting situations since it provides fast and accurate target acquisition. When you need battery power most, the solar-powered feature makes sure you won't run out. Furthermore, the RD3-030/APOLLO-PRO is compatible with a variety of weapons because it is made to accommodate any handgun with an RMS/RMSC screw pattern or footprint.
-
Solar is a nice addition to the site.
This fit my Springfield XD easily. The site is bright when needed. It will also dim in low light situations which is a great addition. I also like how it has a solar panel to keep the site running even if the battery runs out. I'm glad I picked this one up, I really like it.
-
Hard to beat for the price
This company ADE is putting out some great products, that at first glance, stack up nicely to their MUCH more expensive competitors. This specific one has the RMS/RMSc footprint and fits my Canik TP9 SC Elite. I currently have an expensive name-branded optic on that pistol that I have hundreds to thousands of rounds through. It has great brightness and optical clarity. Minimal parallax that I could discern. Time will tell if it's able to hold zero on my 9mm platform. The housing is aluminum and sturdy. It claims to have "Solar" charging capabilities... not sure how that works, unless you just leave it out in the sun for a while. But the battery claims to have life to 50,000 hours. That's a long time. So for now, I'm really digging this thing and it will put a lot of pressure on its more expensive competitors if it holds up.

nice gun support gear
The Ade Advanced Optics RD3-030/APOLLO-PRO Red Dot Sight has left a strong impression on me. I've had the pleasure of using it across several handguns, including the Springfield Hellcat OSP/PRO, Sig P365XL Spectre Comp, Canik TP9 Elite SC, Mossberg MC2SC, and Kimber R7 Mako. The 4 MOA red dot has significantly improved my accuracy and targeting speed, which is crucial in various shooting scenarios. One of the standout features of this sight is its sensor activation and solar-powered design. This innovative approach ensures that the sight is always ready when I need it, regardless of the lighting conditions. It's as if the RD3-030/APOLLO-PRO anticipates my needs, making my shooting experiences much smoother and more efficient. Installation and adjustment were straightforward, and I found the sight to be remarkably adaptable to my preferences. The clarity and brightness of the red dot have consistently held up, even during extended range sessions. What truly impresses me is how seamlessly it integrates with different handguns, offering improved accuracy across the board. Summing it up, the Ade Advanced Optics RD3-030/APOLLO-PRO Red Dot Sight is a standout accessory for any shooting enthusiast. Its performance, adaptability, and advanced features make it a must-have for those seeking enhanced shooting experiences. Without a doubt, I'd give this product a solid five-star rating for its exceptional quality and game-changing capabilities.

best option instead of a holosun for the price
i have always wanted a solar red dot and now that i have one its been amazing to use. was simple to install in my slide and works with the sun so no battery needed unless u need to use at night. its nice and bright and has multiple options

A nice red dot sight at a good price!
I got the Ade Advanced Optics RD3-030/APOLLO-PRO Sensor Activated, Solar Powered 4 MOA Red Dot Sight for my Glock 43X MOS, and it fits like a glove! It utilizes the RMS/RMSC screw pattern/footprint, so make sure that you get the right sight for your firearm. I wasn't very familiar with the ADE brand, but I can say that it is a quality-built product and I have picked up a few more of their models for various firearms. As mentioned, the materials that are used are good, quality materials and I would say they are a good, solid midrange sight, not something I would necessarily use for competition, but it is one that I use on my range and daily carry. Additional features that the APOLLO PRO includes are "always powered on and it features an auto-dimming sensor based on ambient light and there is no physical on/off/brightness button. The sensor does it all". Overall, the sight is a great sight with clear optics. Even though the sight is made overseas, it is designed in Oregon, USA and the support is US based as well. I can and do recommend the Ade Advanced Optics RD3-030/APOLLO-PRO Sensor Activated, Solar Powered 4 MOA Red Dot Sight!

Amazing Optic so far
I really like this optic, even more so for the price. The always on feature is interesting, but a very welcome feature. The company states 50,000 hours of use on the battery, assuming when it is on its lowest setting, but even so, it must get quite a few hours even on its highest. For reference, because It was put on a Glock48 non MOS, I took it to a gunsmith to install it. ADE also makes an optic plate for the Glock 48 Non MOS that utilized the rear dovetail sight. They pushed out the rear sight, installed the plate and installed the optics for me. They just told me to bring it to the range and sight it in at about 20-25 yards. Unlike many other optics that require you to turn them on, this is always ready to go, allowing me to draw and immediately acquire target. The auto dim feature seems to work well and quickly adjusts to the different lighting situation. I tested by turning each room to a different light level and walking through. Each change was smooth and almost immediate. The dot is bright and clear, and adjusting it is fairly easy. I cannot stress enough to make your major adjustments while the mounting screws are loose, and only very small adjustments when tight. I found this out attempting to adjust the dot and not able to get it to move far enough. The directions tell you this, and even warn of permanent damage if you fail to follow it. Luckily, all is well with mine, and I did not damage it. I have not had the opportunity to take it to the range and test it yet and sight it in, but I doubt I will have any issues, if I do I will return to alert everyone reading this.

Nice sight
Easy to attach, accurate, nice quality has weight to it not plastic junk
-
Wish it would fit my Sig
Just a hair and I mean one tiny strand of hair, too big for my Sig .380. Kept it for another pistol I'm getting. If it doesn't fit that then I'm shelving it for God knows how long. Maybe I'll remember it's sitting up there in fifty years as I lay dying on my deathbed.
-
Fits
Looks pretty good and fits perfect there was no need to adjust in my case
-
So far so good
This mounted easily (5 minutes) on my canik sc elite. Window is nice and clear and dot is very visible. Zeroed at 25 ft and waiting to go to the range. Will update if needed after 100 rounds. Only complaint is that the cover doesn't fit snug but that's just minor 6 months update: I cannot be more pleased. I have yet to install a new battery and the site stays true. I am about to order another for my 1911.
-
Works great, not water proof/resistant!
This is my second experience with ADE optics and it, so far, is much better than my first! The sight looks and feels well made. The dot is crisp and clear as is the optics glass. The switches work well and are not easily bumped. Shake awake also works quickly and the optic comes on immediately on picking up the firearm. Zeroing was accomplished in the typical fashion. Take a few shots from a stabilized position, in my case a pistol rest, aim dead center, fire a round, reposition the pistol, aim dead center and adjust the sight to the first impact hole. Was rinse and repeat until the pistol hits where the optic is aimed. That said the optic was perfectly sighted in three shots and retained zero through all three 20rnd magazines we fired that day. The ONLY issue I have is that this optic in NOT water proof or resistant, which is disappointing as even most budget optics are!
-
Works great
This sight was simple to instal and uses the same base as my sig Romeo. Setup was simple and sighting it in was fast and easy. I would recommend
-
Features of higher end red dot
I am impressed with the overall size and yet still is solar rechargeable. Always on and ready to go. Auto brightness. The reticle has crisp edges and the quality of the optics is good.
-
Great site
This is really nice and accurate. Easy to use and looks amazing looking down the sight to see the reticle. Pinpoint accuracy.
-
Very Small...Perfect for small pistols!
This is perfect for smaller pistols, because it is so small and lightweight. It is easy to attach and has a clear, bright sight picture for good accuracy. I am very impressed with it for the price and will get another if/when I get another pistol of compact or sub-compact size.
-
Good budget red dot for my 22/45
I put this in a low RMS mount and put it on my 22/45. It was easy to zero with the included micro screwdriver and the dot was bright enough to pick up easily when outdoors. Thus far, it has held up to rimfire use.
-
Very high quality
This sight unfortunately doesn’t fit, however the bright red dot is very cool. Like many, the reticle can be adjusted, but the blue tent really sets this off. The solar recharge is another unique feature about this. It’s easy to use and of great quality.
-
Excellent red dot site
Good construction and installed firmly onto my airsoft pistol. The red dot functions as expected. The buttons are not super large so you have to look at what you are pressing. Brightness is excellent in all but the most direct sunlight. It is still visible at high noon but takes a bit of practice to train your eyes to see it. Instructions are adequate.
-
Really is compact..
Nice little optic with a clear and distinct red dot. It's light weight and easily was installed. The viewing area is also a bit small but the optic is easy to view through and has nice clarity. The red dot was also very easy to sight in. Overall nice little optic...?
-
Works great!
Really happy with the optic. Just remember that solar power is not guarantee power. So if you keep in a safe that option isnt going to do you any good.
-
Great features and holds up well
Solar rechargeable? 50hrs battery? Always on? Auto brightness? All for sub $200? Fantastic value! The glass looks great, and the dot seems good. I've always avoided "cheap" optics because the gun blogs say you get what you pay for, but in this case, I got way more! I set this up on my S&W M&P AR22 at a 45-degree angle off my scope. Works like a charm for close targets. It seems to be holding zero!
-
Nice Option for Optics
Was a little leery at first of getting it because I wasn't familiar with the brand. But ultimately glad that I picked it out. No problems with fit. Everything is accurate. Compares to some of the name brand models that cost twice as much. Would recommend it to anyone looking for something similar but wants to save some money.
-
Another great ADE optic
I have used so many ADE optics by now that I am very comfortable and confident using them for my pistols and rifles. This dot is small and lightweight, making it sit low and inobtrusive to my pocket pistol. The most important thing for me is having a dot when I bring it up to my face so the solar power and 50K hours mean a lot to me. 4MOA is a good compromise for fast acquisition and accuracy for a compact pistol. The battery does mount underneath but I find that it does not significantly alter the zero when replacing it. Especially considering this is for a small pistol very rarely shooting past 50yards. The dot also comes with multiple sized screws that are clearly marked so it was easy to mount to my slide.
-
Impressive budget optic
If you've got a pistol with the correctly cut slide, this is an AWESOME budget friendly red dot to put on there. I've always been a bit of an optics snob with the price of optics sometimes exceeding the price of the gun it sits on... but I walked away from trying this very impressed. It's a crisp clean dot and the optic itself is very stout. No issues with losing zero once it's set. Packaging is all top notch and the cover is nice... but ultimately it comes down to functionality and this red dot will just work. Run it all day long and it stays where you set it.
-
I can't believe the quality/ value at this price point
I've looked all over and couldn't find this exact combination of features ( not to mention at this cost). The absolute best part about this red dot, it that I never need to think about it, and never need to physically interact with it. There are no physical buttons - it is always on. And the best part is (and a hard feature to find) is that there is no buttons to adjust the brightness of the dot. The sensor automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient lighting. While looking down the sight, you can turn off the lights in the room and watch it automatically dim the red dot perfectly (a majorly underrated feature). The built is backup sights are a nice feature, just not needed with my G43x. But they do not get in the way and the don't look bad even with my factory rear sights behind them. One reviewer mentioned that the rubber cover fit very loose, but mine fit quite snug (until mounted to the pistol - now the slide keeps it from seating all the way). My only gripe is that the pictures were slightly misleading. The pictures show it mounted perfectly on a G43X mos with no adapter plate. That is true, it went on perfectly and mounted easily with the screws provided. However, my slide is a bit more narrow than the sight, meaning the base of the optic overhangs about 1mm on each side. The battery is also stored on the bottom and I can actually see the edges of the battery. Apparently this is a common issue with sights that have bottom batteries, and especially on sli.line pistols. After contacting them, they quickly responded and are sending me a gasket/spacer to place under the sight to seal it up. Free of charge. So far I am not only extremely impressed with the optic, but with the company themselves. I will definitely be on the lookout for future products, especially if they could e out with a green variant of this sight, or offer other reticle options I literally cluld t recommend this sight enough - top notch.

OK, I will Readily Admit...
... that growing up with iron sights has made it a bit difficult for me to make a smooth adjustment to electronic optics (other than prism scopes for SBRs and such) and so I claim no expertise in this area and am still on the voyage of use and discovery when it comes to such. However, having been exposed to (and owning) a good number of red dots, reflex optics, and the like, it is really not that difficult for me to separate the low-end junk from the middle-of-the-road "good" stuff and finally, the higher-end offerings. Some of the higher-end offerings also unfortunately have the higher-end price tags, so much higher-end that they cost more than the firearm, which is something that I find a bit objectionable -- kinda like having a set of wheels on a car that cost more than the car. This dot has all the characteristics of the higher-end stuff with a more palatable (for me) price tag. Shake awake and such is becoming more and more common, as are clearer and brighter reticles, and this unit exemplifies those advances. I think it's worth a look. For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five Stars I am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Perfect for any pistol
Works just as well as the bigger brands. Was able to attach to my Taurus quickly and have it sighted in within a few minutes.

Great value and great quality!
The product is great so far. It looks better and work better than higher price competitors. Will love to install and use in my other guns. Love the solar charge option. Anyone to look for this type of product knows that they are 2 to three times higher price than this one. Again I highly recommend it!

Excellent budget red dot that performs as good as the competition at 2x+ the price!
Excellent budget red dot that performs as good as the competition at 2x+ the price! Absolutely perfect fit for my Masada Slim. Very easy to mount, sight and use. Seems to hold sighting very well. I typically purchase red dot sights the are name brand and cost 2x-3x more than this sight. I could not be more pleased with this sight and particularly how it fits my Masada Slim. Mounts directly to the slide and allows for co-witness with iron sights on my Masada. I highly recommend this one!

Apollo Red Dot
This product was a direct fit for my Hellcat. I love the fact that it has a small solar panel in the event the battery dies. I also like the shake on feature which means it's ready when you need it. It comes with 3 sets of screws for different guns and a handy adjustment tool. The rubber dust cover helps to extent the battery life when no in use. Other companies charge extra for that. Great company to work with as they are easy to get a hold of and will give you advice on which product will work best for your firearm
