Looks good and brighter than expected. If you’re not seeing a dot you might want to get your eyes checked you might need some glasses to help correct that. Pros: great price, looks sturdy, real glass, battery on top easily replaced when needed, comes with cover. Cons: screws provided too short for my Canik SC, comes with cover but that cover no longer fits if RDS is not flushed with slide, shuts off after an hour or was it 90 minutes, on and off button worries me as there’s no indication it’s even pushed kind of worried this will be a fail point. Other than that seems like a good priced solid RDS. Will update once taken to range. So far laser bore sighted with minimal adjustments needed

This ADE sight is very easy to operate. Out of the box, it came with all you would need to mount without any issues. The dot has several screw types for your mounting instance. Several settings on the brightness allow for you to get a good sight picture in any lighting situation, even in bright sunlight. I've used this on my outdoor range in the daytime and was still able to visibly see the dot and stay on target. This is a good, solid dot to replace your iron sights and is not too expensive as well. I'd recommend this product if you're in the market for a new red dot optic.

Great little optic, easy to install and zero. I did feel the need to sand down the mounting plate because of the overhang on the sides front and back. But after a little work I think it looks great. 4 stars

This is a good red dot. It does what it’s suppose to do.

When I first received the sight it work perfectly on my Hellcat Pro. After a couple months I noticed it was very dim and no longer a circle. The glass for the emitter had fallen off. I sent them the warranty notification around 5pm and they replied the same night. After verifying some things they had a new one shipped out next day. That’s amazing customer service and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again, and if you are on the fence about getting one, just do it.

Fit perfectly, and included everything you need to get it mounted. Only issue I had was mine did not come with the battery. I had to order some from Amazon and wait to use it until the batteries arrive.

Easy install on a Hellcat. Perfect fit. Didn't come with a battery was the only issue i had. Haven't been to gun range since I've had it installed. Update on how well it holds zero after next trip to range

I really like the price point. Doesn’t break the bank. Fits perfect on my OSP milled Hellcat. Had to use the screws that came with my firearm. Adjusting with the sight was not hard. Purchased a bore sight in addition to help really be accurate. So far so good. Have to take it to the range to see if it truly is accurate. Only two thing I don’t like is the sight rubber cover doesn’t fit and the on/off dimmer button is on the left side so when you rack the slide it’s hard not to change the dimmer setting. A little annoying

Though I purchased the ADE RD3-021 directly from ADE Advanced Optics, I wanted others to know that it fits the Kimber Mako R7 also. The supplied screws do not work, but a call to Kimber for screw size and a short trip to Menards & my Mako has a great red dot sight. With the all aluminum body, top load battery, on/off switch, wide brightness intensity settings & co-witness with the iron sights, plus a super price; I can’t justify sights at triple or even double the price. This red dot is perfect for the Kimber Mako R7.

Compared to the polymer red dots this ADE NUWA is housed in an aluminum enclosure and appears to be very nicely made. Supplied screws made it easy to mount, though I think there was a bit too much blue loctite on them. One appealing feature is the top battery cover - no need to remove the optic to replace the battery. Initial zeroing had the elevation adjustment at the limit, so I'm hoping it holds after some range time. The single button control is easy to use. An email installation question was quickly answered by Tony - this is excellent customer support!

This is very lightest and small. It is the only one that I am aware of the has the battery on top, you don't have to remove the red dot to replace the battery. the description is as described and mounting is a breeze.

It fit my 40 S&W nicely. Would definitely buy again.

Ive been using the romeo zero and it is a fine optic sight but i wanted an easier to control sight. I decided to go with the RD3-021 by ADE Optics. It was easy to install and zero and has a great top load battery with a side mounted dimmer control/on/off switch. And it was inexpensive. Win/win/win.

I bought the Ade Advanced Optics NUWA (RD3-021) Ultra Micro Red Dot for my Springfield Hellcat. It's like icing on a cookie! Really great optic and at a very reasonable price!

It's very small and light weight easy to install great on battery usage I recommend for all sub compacts but I use a canik tp9 sc elite it also has great accuracy and performance.

I have been looking for a red dot for my hellcat for a few months that would not brake the bank. It fit perfectly and so far has stayed sighted in.

So far very impressive fits the Canik Rival perfectly and the coexisting iron sights seem to line up perfectly with the iron sights on the red dot it looks good the red dot acquisition is fast it's light as a feather which shouldn't affect the recoil and seems to be very well made will take it to the range this weekend and give an update

I purchased this sight for my 3030 hunting rifle. It was easy to install and I was able to zero my rifle in 4 shots. I put a box of rounds through my rifle and the zero held with no problem. I am very happy with this red dot.

Mounted it on my Canik Rival. Was fairly easy to mount. Took to the range and it was fine. Next time I was at the range it would turn off on it’s own. You couldn’t see the red dot and red dot would would change MOA. Not reliable and cannot return. Ran out of time. UPDATE ADE contacted me immediately and replaced the product promptly. They paid for shipping costs. Mounted the new one no problems. Great customer service. Thanks guys.

I’m normally a Sig or Vortex optic guy, so I was skeptical of this at first. After it arrived, I mounted it in my Springfield Hellcat without any trouble. It fits perfectly on the picky little peeshooter. The dot is easy to acquire and it stays on target. I like that it cowitnesses with the Hellcat sights as well. Plus, the top battery access is a nice bonus. So far, I’m impressed.

If you are buying for a Canik Elite SC please note that the screws that come with this are a bit too short to mount. I purchased size 4 .7 x 12mm in a 4 set for $1.50 to be able to get this on with the Canik mounting plate. The sight looks and feels really good. haven't taken it to the range yet to get dialed in %100 but it already is a big improvement on the pistol. I also recommend buying additional batteries CR1632, you can get large packs for cheap. As for the not "forever on aspect". It stays on for about 90mins before shutting off on its own and the turn on is real quick with a responsive button. Overall for the price I was willing to pay this is a win.

Got this red dot for a Ruger MAX 9 PRO and it was easily mounted, and also very easy to sight in. Looks and works great, very small size is perfect for the micro compact pistol. Amazing sight for only $107! I'm going to buy another red dot soon for either my SIG M18 or Beretta APX A1 full size optic ready pistol and will be getting another ADE sight when I do.

This scope perfectly fitthe Canik METE MC9. however it does not come with the battery so you have to purchase it separately . the battery is CR 1632 so I will update this review as soon as i got the battery shipped from amazon.This fits perfectly on the slide of the MC9 and came with 4 extra sets of mounting screws which does'nt fit the MC9 so i just used the OEM screws instead because i do not want to strip the mounting threads on the gun. the scope cover has to be cut on a certain way so it will fit with the scope mounted to the gun. overall, this is agreat buy so far!

very solid construction, functions well, easy directions included along with hardware to install. My only issue and its mine not ADE is this red dot doesn't play to nicely with an astigmatism. But thats par for the course on a red dot. Would recommend

This was a nice optic that was easily installed on my Canik. Comes with everything you need to rock and roll on range day. A well made rds.

After I had this put on,the red dot will not stay on. Tried 2 new batteries but it just won't stay on.

The sight fit perfectly on the Shield Plus without a need for an adapter plate. This allows the rear sights to still be usable as a backup. Many brightness settings allowing for the 2 moa dot to still be easy to pick up quickly. The battery is easily replaceable without having to remove the optic. I personally don't like the 90 minute auto shutoff and would have preferred a "shake awake" instead. Overall, it's a very good "budget-friendly" option for the Shield Plus.

The device wouldn't come on. The surface area of the battery contact was badly scratched/damaged. This is clearly not a brand new device. I input a brand new battery, (making sure of the correct orientation) but still no go. I am requesting a replacement and I will update the review then. Update - the return and replacement process was seamless and impressive. I received the replacement a day earlier than promised. The surface area of the replacement is very scratched, as well. This one works, however. It has never been my experience to receive a brand new item showing this level of wear. I have other red dots (Crimson Trace, Bushnell, Sig Sauer, et al) as well as other ADEs. Some have battery slots as opposed to top or bottom-loading options. Of those that do top/bottom load, I can't recall this level of wear. The replacement was easy to sight in @ 10'; zero held through several mags with no problems. I am happy with this one and am upgrading the rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

Small gun = small dot. good brightness but a pain in the rear to adjust & turn on/off. The big + is the top loading battery!! Budget dot works well on budget pistol.

I've had red dots from Crimson Trace, Swampfox, Sig, DeltaPoint and Holosun among others. The NUWA is one of my favorites regardless of price. - It's incredibly low profile permits co-witness with almost any stock iron sights. - The tiny size fits well on the smallest subcompacts. - The glass is incredibly clear and distortion free. - The dot is small and uniform enough to give a good sight picture on even small or distant targets. - The metal construction feels solid and the fit and finish is excellent. - The single control button works very well, giving positive feedback and no inadvertent changes. - The top loading battery can be changed without removing the sight and losing zero. The missing piece: no way to keep the sight turned on while carrying. The unchangeable 90 minute shut-off makes it completely unsuitable as a carry gun--which is a shame because it would otherwise be ideal for concealed carry. It's asking way to much to get shake-awake in a unit this small at an incredibly affordable price. I for one would happily pay twice as much for a version suitable for carry. I will enjoy using it as a range gun and hope that ADE has enough magic left to squeeze shake-awake into this absolutely delightful sight. ADDENDUM: It has occurred to me that ADE could make the NUWA suitable for carry at no additional expense: just make the auto shutoff optional and leave the user with the responsibility to extend battery life by turning the power off when not in use. No brainer way to dramatically increase the utility of this otherwise excellent design.

This red dot is great. The adjustable brightness and dot position is incredibly easy to use and the fact that you don't have to remove the optic to change the battery is a huge bonus. Installation took less than 5 minutes and extra screws and tools are all included. If you're thinking about this product, get it.

The optic is small enough not to be obtrusive but large enough for quick target sighting. I would recommend this to anyone.

Easy install! Great Value , even comes with several sets of screws and Allen wrenches ,which i liked! I will say doesn't have all the bells and whistles ,which holds the cost down. i wasn't sorry for the money!

It's a great low profile red dot. Sits at about the same height as suppressor height sights. Strong construction, easy to load battery, clear glass. Great first red dot to see if you like them or not on your Pistol.

Since becoming a gun enthusiast I’ve had quite a few red dots and iron sights. This device has both. ADE is really steeping up their game. And on top of that it’s an affordable price. This sight fit my gun just like it was specially made for it. The brightness switch is something to get used to. It's easy to turn the dot all the way down and not find it. Oh well, practice makes perfect! The sight is very accurate when properly adjusted. I have no complaints about it's accuracy at all.

Seems to be very well made, no plastic. Comes with cover, cleaning cloth, gasket, battery and several screw sizes that already have the blue lock tire applied. Can’t wait to get it mounted and zero it in.

small package, I can see my iron sights and bring red dot in alignment . I checked this and set it with in chambered 9mm laser.I really like to be able to change mattery with sight on the pistol. This is mounted on a Glock 43X, MOS slide. Neat Package. I hope its up the the ride on the slide ! Time will tell.

Really like the all-metal body. The overall fit and finish are excellent. Fit the Ruger Max-9 perfectly and installation was very easy as the necessary tools and mounting screws are all included. Taking it to the range to test and sight in. Will add more info afterwards. So far, everything works like it's supposed to!

The factory sights are still visible as a co-witness set up on the GX4 TORO. The reticle is a bit big but versitile. I have only run 50 rounds through but so far so good. It hasn't flown off and it has stayed zeroed. The power setting is odd. As far as I can figure, it is always on technically but shakes awake to the brightness last used. It has been 6 months and the battery is still going... I would buy again.

Received my ADE Nuwa optics yesterday. Installed it on my Canik TP9 Elite SC. Went to range this morning. Zeroing in was easy and fast. Zero holds true. Looks sleek and beautiful on my Canik. Love it. Will buy more ADE products in the future.

This red dot is tiny. Not in a bad way. The dot is easy to find. Brightness is good. I practiced with my G Shot laser trainer and was amazed on the accuracy. It’s apparently allowed when taking the License to carry course. It’s so good if feels like cheating. It’s narrower than my Security 9 and looks great.

I had a unit sent to me that didn't work out of the box and it got replaced so fast that it was at my house before I could mail back the defective unit! Thank you so much and all your clients should feel safe buying from your comp :)

The sight is very easy to install and adjust. It is very small and unobtrusive on the gun. The top battery access means you don't need to remove the whole thing to replace the battery. Fits great on my Hellcat OSP, just a slight trim of the rubber dust cover to fit the contour of the barrel.

Luv this NUWA red dot. It's small and compact. Mounted directly ontoy S&W Shield Plus 30 Super Carry! Really like the "shake awake" feature and easy access to battery. Red dot is adjustable. Very pleased with my purchase. I had purchased the wrong red.dot.dor.my gun initially and Tony at Optics Factory was GREAT to work with me in exchanging to the NUWA RD3-021. Will use Optics Factory again for sure!

I purchased the NUWA Red Dot for my new M&P 22 mag. The unit worked great & did not have any problems with it. I also have a ADE Raptor that came with a M&P 10mm that I picked up used. Don't know what the round count is on the pistol. But I put around 100 full power loads through the gun and that red dot kept it's zero. That's why I bought the NUWA Red Dot.

Best budget optic on the market. Robust and has held a zero the entire time I've shot it.

Great sight, only issue is screws are not long enough. Said it would fit my canik tp9 SC, but all screw that come with it are not long enough to mount.

It was easy to install and adjust. I love the top load battery.

Review of ADE Advanced Optics RD3-021 NUWA Micro Red Optic I purchased the NUWA for my optic ready Kimber R7 Mako. This was the first red optic I’ve bought for any firearm I’ve ever owned. I am impressed with the ADE Advanced Optics NUWA in many ways. First & foremost was the price! I just can’t justify spending 1/2 the cost of a handgun or in some cases: more than the total cost, on an optic. For the price & my budget the RD3-021 is perfect. I really like the packaging, paperwork, cleaning cloth, plastic cover, screws & tools that are included. The shipping box prevents damage to the optic; the instructions are well written & worth reading; the 2 supplied hex wrenches & 3 different size sets of screws are a bonus. As stated in the instructions the screws provided may or may not fit your particular slide. Consulting Kimber; the optic screw pitch of the R7 Mako is 6-32. A trip to the local Menards and $1 later, I had the perfect 6-32 x 1/2 Flat Head Socket Cap Screw with 5/64 drive. The NUWA fit perfect. It’s weight is ideal and, unlike any other direct fit for the RMSc footprint, the top load battery and on/off switch to me are second to none. I didn’t expect the very nice included cover. I had to cut the rear of the cover a bit to have it fit between the Mako’s rear sight and the optic. Note: the instructions state to use the rubber-anti flickering / sealing shim provided. This was not included with my RD3-021 package. After installing on my brand new un-shot Kimber Mako I went to the local indoor range. After a few minutes & less than 20 rounds of “dialing in” I must say I’m impressed. I literally shot out my targets 2” center. Granted it was at 10 yards, but the red dot is so much faster over iron sights for acquiring the target and really allows my Mako to shine. It is nice having 8 settings of brightness on the 2MOA red dot. Overall the RD3-021 NUWA is a winner! To sum up: PROS - Price Top Load Battery Aluminum & Glass On/Off Button Direct fit on RMSc Accuracy / Ease of sighting in Ability to Co-Witness Existing Sights if needed CONS - Absolutely None Though I cannot do a side by side comparison with any other red dot optic I am very happy with my purchase & would recommend the RD3-021 NUWA to anyone searching for a red dot optic. I purchased for my new Kimber R7 MAKO, After installing and a trip to the local indoor range I am very happy with this sight as it is perfect in many ways. Between the price, direct RMSc fit, On/Off Switch, ease of sighting in, aluminum and glass, co-witness ability, etc the RD3-021 NUWA is a BEST BUY & A MUST HAVE! It's great that it comes with everything needed in the box, Though it comes 3 different sets of mounting screws, the Kimber Mako requires 6-32 threads, These were easily found at my local Menards for $1. It took 20 rounds to sight in the red dot and my Mako ate the entire 2" bulleye out of the target at 10 yards. I just can't say enough and very highly recommend this red dot sight!
