  • This combo listing includes an ADE RD3-015 red dot sight, a mounting plate specifically designed for SAR9 Gen 1 and Gen 2 pistols, and a standard picatinny mount. It is compatible with SAR USA SAR9, SAR9 C, SAR9 METE, SAR9T, and SAR9 X models from Gen 1 and Gen 2 only. Please note, it will not fit other SAR 9mm models or the newer SAR9 Gen 3 pistols. It will not fit any optic ready SAR9 models that already has a optic cut in front of the rear sight.
  • The ADE Zantitium Red dot sight is the largest pistol sight currently available on the market. Its dimensions are 2.25 inches in length, 1.4 inches in width, and 1.27 inches in height. It offers a window size up to twice as large as other micro red dots. However, due to its larger size, it may appear bulky when installed on a micro-compact handgun.
  • The ADE Zantitium (RD3-015) has Motion Activated System. While the Zantitium is turned on, the red dot illumination goes to sleep after five minutes of inactivity, but when any motion or vibration is detected, it instantly switches on illumination at the previous brightness setting. User also has a option to manually turn the red dot power off to disable the Motion Activated System.
  • The Zantitium features a size that is approximately 30% longer than other red dots, providing a larger window. Consequently, it may not be compatible with certain Optics Ready handgun models that have an optic cut in front of the rear sight, such as Glock MOS and Springfield OSP.Due to its extended length, this red dot does not properly fit into the pre-cut designed for optics.Instead, it is designed to be mounted using a mounting plate that replaces the rear sight and sits on top of the slide.
  • The Zantitium features a top load system, allowing for easy battery changes without needing to remove the sight. It includes the red dot itself, a tool, a removable picatinny plate with two screws, a cover, a lens cloth, and an instruction manual. This sight is designed to fit pistol optic plates that replace the rear sight and are compatible with the Doctor/Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire footprint.
  • The Zantitium features a 4 MOA dot size and is shockproof, fogproof, and waterproof up to 30 minutes under 4 feet of water. It offers 1 MOA windage and elevation adjustments with audible clicks for precise tuning. Additionally, this red dot sight can serve as an effective backup system when paired with a long-range rifle scope, ensuring versatility across different shooting scenarios.
  • If you're not seeing a perfect round dot but instead observe a splashed dot, half-moon shape, multi-dot, or starburst, there's a high probability (99%) that you might have astigmatism without being aware of it. What you perceive is likely a small reflection of the LED light on the lens. A quick and simple way to confirm this is by using your cellphone to take a photo of the dot. If the photo shows a circular dot, you've essentially diagnosed yourself with astigmatism.

Good Optic but Slight Blue Tint

Posted by Brian on 17th May 2026

Overall pretty happy with it. The optic works reliably and the larger lens definitely helps with fast shooting drills. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the glass has a little more blue tint than I personally prefer. Other than that, installation was easy and the optic has stayed solid.

    Surprisingly Premium Feel

Posted by Andrew Salazar on 17th May 2026

I bought this mostly because I wanted to try a larger window optic without paying Trijicon or Holosun pricing. Honestly, I expected something decent but basic. What showed up actually felt much more premium than expected. The housing is solid aluminum, buttons feel responsive, and the glass clarity is very respectable. I especially like the multiple reticle system because I switch between circle-dot and simple dot depending on what I'm doing at the range. The shake awake feature has also worked perfectly so far. Mounted on my SAR9 CX and after about 500 rounds it has held zero without needing adjustment.

    Huge Window Makes a Difference

Posted by Cooper on 17th May 2026

The larger viewing window on the RD3-015 PRO is immediately noticeable compared to my older micro dots. Faster target acquisition and easier tracking during recoil. Mounted cleanly on my SAR9 Sport.

    Held Zero on My 10mm

Posted by Anthony Delgado on 14th May 2026

I was honestly curious if this optic could survive repeated use on my 10mm because that platform is rough on electronics. Surprisingly, it handled recoil far better than expected. After multiple range sessions the zero hasn’t drifted and the brightness controls still work perfectly. The buttons have a solid tactile feel and the battery compartment design makes replacement easy without removing the optic. For the price point I’m genuinely impressed.

    Could Use Better Instructions

Posted by Jeffrey Nolan on 14th May 2026

The optic itself seems pretty solid and once installed it worked fine. Dot brightness is good and the housing feels durable enough. The included instructions could definitely be clearer though. I had to search online to understand a couple settings and battery installation details. Once figured out everything worked properly. Overall decent product but documentation needs improvement.

    Thousands of Rounds Later

Posted by Jonathan Pierce on 14th May 2026

I normally run more expensive optics but decided to try this one after hearing decent feedback online. I mounted it on a full-size range pistol and started testing it pretty aggressively. Over the last four months I’ve put somewhere around 2,000 rounds through the gun. The optic has been through rapid fire drills, holster work, and a few rainy range sessions. So far it has maintained zero without issue. The shake awake feature activates reliably every single time I pick the pistol up. The lens coating is also better than expected. I noticed less glare compared to another budget optic I own. Controls are simple and easy to understand without needing to constantly reference the manual. Honestly one of the best values I’ve purchased recently.

    Impressive for the Price

Posted by Scott Emerson on 14th May 2026

I bought this during a sale expecting it to be just a temporary optic, but it ended up staying on my setup. Zeroing was straightforward and the dot stays bright even outdoors in direct sunlight. Very happy with this purchase.

    Long Range Session Review

Posted by Christopher Lane on 14th May 2026

I waited a while before reviewing because I wanted enough range time first. After about three months of use I can confidently say this optic punches above its price class. The first thing I noticed was the window clarity. There’s a slight tint but much less than many other budget red dots. The dot itself stays crisp even at higher brightness settings. I have mild astigmatism and this optic still appears cleaner than expected to my eyes. During my last training weekend I ran approximately 900 rounds over two days. Temperatures were in the low 40s with light rain for part of the day. The optic never lost zero, never shut off unexpectedly, and the controls remained responsive despite getting wet repeatedly. One thing I really appreciate is the overall size. It sits low enough on my slide to co-witness properly without looking bulky. Battery life also seems solid so far. If ADE keeps improving at this pace, they’re going to continue gaining popularity in the optics market.

    Easy Install

Installed in under 10 minutes. Clear instructions and the optic lined up perfectly with my slide cut. Very impressed with the quality at this price range.

    Perfect for My Truck Gun

Posted by Daniel Herrera on 14th May 2026

I mounted this optic on a range pistol that stays in my truck kit and honestly it exceeded expectations. I own optics from Holosun and Swampfox as well, and while this isn’t at the exact same level, it’s surprisingly close considering the price difference. The glass coating cuts glare pretty well during sunny afternoon shooting. I also noticed the dot remains clean without much starburst compared to some cheaper optics I’ve tried before. Installation was simple and the included screws actually fit correctly, which sounds minor but saves a lot of frustration. After around 700 rounds the zero hasn’t shifted. Recoil from rapid strings didn’t cause any flickering or shutdowns. The shake awake activates instantly every time I pick the pistol up. Overall I’d absolutely trust this optic for regular range use and possibly even carry use after more testing.

Decent but Battery Cap Was Tight

Posted by Eric Holloway on 14th May 2026

The optic itself works fine and the dot is bright enough outdoors. Shipping was fast and packaging looked professional. My only complaint was the side battery tray was extremely tight the first time opening it. I thought I was going to strip the screw. After getting it open and reinstalling the battery it worked normally though. Not a bad optic overall, just had that small issue out of the box.

    Good for Everyday Carry

Posted by Ryan Whitaker on 14th May 2026

Small footprint, lightweight, and easy to zero. Been carrying with it daily for over a month now and no issues so far. Motion awake feature works exactly like it should. Would buy again.

    Actually Better Than Expected

Posted by Brandon M. Foster on 14th May 2026

I’ve been shooting pistols competitively for years and bought this optic as a backup because I didn’t want to spend another $400+ on a spare setup. Honestly, I expected something average at best. After several weeks of use, I was genuinely surprised. The housing feels sturdy, the clicks are positive, and the optic mounted directly without any fitting issues. I especially like the large viewing window because target acquisition feels fast even during movement drills. The reticle stays crisp outdoors in bright sunlight and I haven’t experienced flickering under recoil. I’ve put roughly 1200 rounds through my setup so far using mostly 124gr ammo. Zero has remained consistent. For the price, this is one of the better values I’ve personally tried in recent years.

    Solid Budget Optic

Posted by Nathan Cole on 14th May 2026

For the money this thing performs well. Shake awake works consistently and the brightness settings are easy to adjust. I mainly use it for range practice and home defense training. Only reason for 4 stars is I wish the buttons were slightly larger with gloves on.

    Great Window and Crisp Dot

Posted by Michael Reeves on 14th May 2026

Mounted this on my carry setup about two months ago and it has held zero perfectly through several range trips. The glass is surprisingly clear for the price point and the reticle is easy to pick up during fast transitions. Battery tray design is also much easier than my older optic. Definitely impressed with ADE lately.

    Better Than Expected

Posted by Tyler Bowers on 13th May 2026

I was honestly expecting a basic budget adapter plate, but this turned out to be a quality piece. The edges are smooth, the threads are clean, and the optic mounted tightly with no gaps. I’ve had more expensive plates that fit worse than this one.

Reliable Mounting Plate for Daily Carry

Posted by Marcus J. Holloway on 13th May 2026

I carry my SAR9 almost every day and wanted a dependable optic mounting solution without spending a fortune. After researching several options, I decided to give ADE a try because I already had good experience with one of their optics. The RD3015HM22 plate arrived quickly and installation was easy. Everything aligned correctly and I didn’t have to modify or force anything. I cleaned the screws, applied blue threadlocker, and torqued them properly. The optic mounted securely with zero wobble. After several range trips and daily carry use, I’m impressed. No loosening screws, no shift in zero, and no weird fitment issues. For the price point this is honestly one of the better mounting plates I’ve used.

    Works As Advertised

Posted by Ryan Fitzgerald on 13th May 2026

Simple install and solid lockup. The screws fit correctly and the optic sits low enough to feel natural when aiming. Good value for the money.

    Excellent Fit and Finish

Posted by Nathan Cole on 13th May 2026

Mounted this plate on my setup with an ADE optic and everything lined up perfectly. The machining is clean and the finish matched my slide surprisingly well. No movement or looseness after installation. I’ve put about 400 rounds through it so far and the optic is still holding zero. Very happy with this purchase.
