  • This combo listing includes an ADE RD3-015 PRO red dot sight, a mounting plate specifically designed for SAR9 Gen 1 and Gen 2 pistols, and a standard picatinny mount. It is compatible with SAR USA SAR9, SAR9 C, SAR9 METE, SAR9T, and SAR9 X models from Gen 1 and Gen 2 only. Please note, it will not fit other SAR 9mm models or the newer SAR9 Gen 3 pistols. It will not fit any optic ready SAR9 models that already has a optic cut in front of the rear sight.
  • The ADE Zantitium PRO(D3-015PRO) has Motion Activated System. While Zantitium PRO is turned on, the red dot illumination goes to sleep after five minutes of inactivity, but when any motion or vibration is detected, it instantly switches on illumination at the previous brightness setting. User also has a option to manually turn the red dot power off to disable the Motion Activated System.
  • The ADE Zantitium PRO has Multi Reticle System. The reticle can be switched between a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, a 2 MOA dot only, or a 32 MOA ring only at the push of a button. Better yet, the same LED projects both reticles, so no re-zeroing is necessary. Operates with a single CR1632 battery. Press and Hold the DOWN switch for 3 seconds to manually turn on/off the power. Press and Hold the UP switch for 3 seconds to change reticle. Quick press Up/Down switches to adjust brightness.
  • The size of the red dot is about 30% longer than other red dots, the window is also bigger. Therefore, it will NOT fit some Optics Ready handgun model that has a optic cut in front of the rear sight(will keep the rear sight to co-witness the red dot), such as Glock Mos, Springfield OSP. The longer length of this red dot does not sit in the pre-cut. It only fits the mounting plate that is made to REPLACE the rear sight and set on the top of the slide(not in the pre-cut).
  • Top load System, no need to Remove the sight to change the Battery. Comes with Red dot, tool, removeable picatinny plate with two screws, cover, lens cloth and instruction manual. Fits pistol optic plate to replace the rear sight (DOES NOT FIT OPTICS READY PISTOL WITH CUT) that is compatible with Doctor/Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire footprint. Does NOT fit RMR, Shield RMS type footprints plate.
  • Comes with a removeable picatinny plate tool, user manual, lens cloth, red dot cover, CR2032 battery, screws.
  • If you're not seeing a perfect round dot but instead observe a splashed dot, half-moon shape, multi-dot, or starburst, there's a high probability (99%) that you might have astigmatism without being aware of it. What you perceive is likely a small reflection of the LED light on the lens. A quick and simple way to confirm this is by using your cellphone to take a photo of the dot. If the photo shows a circular dot, you've essentially diagnosed yourself with astigmatism.

Not Bad but Bigger Than Expected

Posted by Caleb Morrison on 16th May 2026

This was my first pistol red dot setup ever, so I spent weeks researching before deciding on this package for my SAR9 Gen 1. I didn’t want to spend $400-$500 on an optic until I knew I actually liked shooting with dots. Installation ended up being easier than expected. The included mounting plate replaced the rear sight cleanly and everything lined up correctly. I watched a couple videos online beforehand and had it mounted within half an hour. At the range, the difference was immediately noticeable. Once I learned proper presentation, follow-up shots became much faster compared to irons. The larger window on this optic definitely helps beginners find the reticle easier. I also really like the different reticle modes. The circle-dot setup works great for fast shooting, while the single dot feels more precise at longer distances. Nice flexibility depending on what I’m practicing. Battery access from the top is another underrated feature. No need to remove the optic for battery changes and lose zero. That alone makes this better than some cheaper alternatives I looked at. After a few months of use, I’m very happy with the purchase and would absolutely buy it again.

I mainly use this on my SAR9 for steel challenge and range drills. The big window really helps during transitions between targets. Reticle stays crisp and easy to track during recoil. Definitely one of the better affordable pistol optics I’ve used.

    Customer Support Was Excellent

Posted by Matthew Connelly on 16th May 2026

I accidentally ordered the wrong mounting plate version at first and contacted the seller expecting a headache. Instead they answered quickly and shipped the correct SAR9 plate right away. Installation was straightforward after that. The optic sits securely and feels solid once mounted. I added blue Loctite as recommended and everything stayed tight during range sessions. The optic itself exceeded expectations. The larger body does make it look a little bulky compared to ultra-compact dots, but the tradeoff is a much larger viewing window which I personally prefer. My eyes pick up the reticle faster than smaller optics. The motion activation has worked flawlessly for me. Every time I pick up the pistol, the reticle instantly wakes up at the previous brightness setting. Overall very satisfied with both the optic and the service.

Good Range Optic with Nice Features

Posted by Eric Simmons on 16th May 2026

The shake awake feature works well and saves battery life. Dot comes on immediately when moving the pistol. I also like that the optic has multiple reticle modes. Nice option depending on what type of shooting you’re doing.

Better Than Some Expensive Optics I’ve Tried

Posted by Kenneth Rowe on 16th May 2026

I own a few higher-end pistol optics and bought this mainly for a backup range gun. Didn’t expect much at this price point. Surprisingly, the glass is very clean and the reticle options are actually useful instead of gimmicky. The large window helps a lot during rapid fire drills. The top-loading battery tray is another big advantage because I hate removing optics just to swap batteries and re-zero. After around 800 rounds on my SAR9, the optic is still holding zero fine. Buttons are responsive and brightness gets plenty bright outdoors in Arizona sun. For anyone wanting an affordable multi-reticle optic setup specifically for the SAR9 platform, this combo is hard to beat for the money.

Perfect Match for My SAR9 CX

Posted by Anthony Delgado on 16th May 2026

Installed this on my SAR9 CX and the fit was perfect. No gunsmithing needed. Took it to the range the next day and had it dialed in within about 15 shots. The circle-dot reticle is my favorite feature. I use the circle for fast close shooting and switch to dot-only for accuracy work.

Huge Window Makes Target Acquisition Fast

Posted by Jason Whitaker on 16th May 2026

I originally bought this setup for my SAR9 Gen 2 because I wanted a larger window optic without spending Holosun money. After a few weeks at the range, I’m honestly impressed. The viewing window on the RD3-015 PRO is noticeably bigger than most micro pistol dots I’ve tried. Makes finding the dot much easier during draws and transitions. The shake awake feature works exactly as advertised and turns on instantly when I pick up the pistol. Mounted easily with the included plate and held zero through several hundred rounds so far. Great value package overall.
