works very good and cost 3 to 4 times less than the big name red dots

Posted by mike chris on 29th Jul 2025

this is the ade rd3-012 red dot sight. I am using it on a 12 gauge shot gun. I installed a rail on the gun to mount the red dot on, mount comes already on the red dot. It sighted in easily and precise. I have to wear glasses to see up close, out to about 4 ft. but for some reason that i don't know i see this red dot perfect and sharp without the glasses. I don't know if it will be that way for anybody else but for me it was amazing. I've shot slugs, buckshot and number 4 rabbit loads so far [ 36 rounds total ] and the sight has handled it. I don't know how long a battery will last yet but you have to remember to turn it off when your done it does not shut it's self off. I can't say if it will hold up long term but it looks well made and is aluminum not plastic and i am going to buy another one for my lever action 3030.

This is a great optic. I mounted the RD3-012 on my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 without issue. I used the Ruger factory picatinny rail and all fit well. Zeroing in was easy as the sight was close out of the box. I had to go up 1 inch and left 2 inches to get zero. I zeroed in at 30 feet. Once I locked in the dot the unit held zero just fine. Product is well made. I would highly recommend this optic.

Buying the ADE RD3-012 Red Dot was ano brainer. Mounted on my Taurus G3C T.O.R.O, is exactly what I needed and completed my EDC pistol. You hear stories of people spending up to 1,000.00 to have a great CCW. Well eith the addition of my ADE Red Dot I have less 600.00 into a great CCW package. The ADE ADE RD3-012, is super bright, easy to mount and very accurate right out of the box. Comes with everything including a mount for picaninny rails for carbine. I put a lot of research into this and the ADE RD3-012 Delta cane our #1.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT Bang for the Buck!!!!

Posted by GREAT Bang for the Buck!!!! on 29th Jul 2025

I had a Leupold Delta Point w/7.5 moa. It kept shutting down so I had to send it back for repairs. I wanted something to tide me over until the Delta Point came back so I bought this with the 6 moa and put it on. That was 4 months ago. I still haven't switched back even though my Leupold is back. This thing holds zero with no problem. The dot is bright, doesn't star and is easy to see. The glass is easy to see thru without any distortion. I probably put 600 -1000 rounds per month thru the gun (Walther PPQ Tac 4) at the range. Have not had to do anything to the sight after zeroing it in other than replacing the battery once. However, for the money I could replace the battery monthly and be well ahead of the game. The only (and it's very slight) drawback is zeroing it in. With the lock down screws having to be tightened every time then loosened every time you make a change it gets tiresome. However, once it's zeroed it stays zeroed so it's not that big of a deal. If you are just thinking about getting a RMR/Red Dot this is a great way to get started without having to break the bank. I'm going to order another one for my wife's gun.

    Amazing quality

Posted by AZ Shootist on 29th Jul 2025

As a retired gunsmith and gunshop owner, I've had my hands on a LOT of optics over the past 34 years. I read a bunch of reviews before deciding to try the Ade Micro Red Dot Site. I had used their mounts in the past and was impressed with their precision and quality. The site did not disappoint and was simple to mount on a Beretta M-92FS (using the appropriate Ade mount). The lens is nicely coated, the dot is clear and fully adjustable and the thing just looks awesome...and at a price that is half that of comparable sites. I am so impressed that I just ordered another one to attach to a custom M-1911 "Race Gun".

I like almost everthing about this product. Easy to install, accurate and looks good (love the American flag on the side). The only small drawback will be replacing the batteries; not easy to get to.

Great sight, quality as good as every other $400 sight.

Posted by Andrew M on 29th Jul 2025

I installed this on a Canik TP9SFX and it was really simple to install. The red dot brightness adjustment gets super bright and sighting to zero was as simple as turning 2 screws, also still holding zero after 300 shots. Will be buying more for my other guns.

Posted by William T on 26th Jul 2025

I wanted an optic that I felt was affordable, this being the first one I've purchased. I found it easy to install and looks great on my Canik tp9sfx. I am looking forward to going to the range tomorrow! If all goes as anticipated, I would put one on my rifle...

    Good to get started with.

Posted by Jonathan Milburn on 26th Jul 2025

Have not put any rounds down range with it yet. However, was easy to install with D1 Glock plate. Shipped very fast and arrived early. Appears and feels sturdy. Has a lower profile than what I originally thought. Great red dot to get started with if you’re not sure about them. Also good for those who are not wanting to have work done to the slide to install an optic.

    Great for older eyes.

    Posted by Mrneg9 on 26th Jul 2025

I find that with getting older I cannot focus very well on gun sights and the target, so i decided to try out a red dot. It definitely helps. It provides a much better site picture and definitely improved my scores. After getting it sighted and about 500 rounds it is holding sight very well.

Posted by Lonnie J. Isom on 26th Jul 2025

For the price, this is a very good Red Dot Sight. It fit perfect on my Canik TP9SFx. Used the 01 mounting plate that came with the guns and everything lined up perfect. Has held up well so far. Have only put about 100 rounds through it. Seems like a quality product.

This is the red dot sight you want for your handgun. The delivery was quick and the unit is all as described by the company. This unit far surpasses other sights selling in the high 300’s. I am also satisfied with the company’s management who responded to my concerns when ordering. Check Amazon for the proper mount for your particular handgun.

This is my first Red Dot Optical sight purchase and first time using it since my service in the military. I've gotta say I was a bit skeptical about the price mainly because most other optics are so pricey but this has proved to have great quality for the price. It even came with a battery already installed and another battery to go with!

I recently purchased a Canik TP9SFX that came ready and with mounts for a reflex sight so figured i would try one. Being a first time user of a sight of this style did not want to spend a lot to see if I would like it. This fit the bill perfectly. Easy to mount and once zeroed in I really like it. Will be looking at putting this on other pistols I have.

Posted by RR on 26th Jul 2025

Bought this for my FN Herstel FNX .40s&w. Initial quality is good. It's a bit rough around the edges on the aluminum frame and the optic. with that being said; I was able to zero this in at 10yds at the range with one clip and it holds true. Optic is clear and the coating filters out extra bright light and looks great.

I like that the battery cover is on to make it it easier whenever the time comes to replace the battery. 6moa is a bit on the bigger side but overall I enjoy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits Canik TP9 sfx

Posted by Dom on 26th Jul 2025

Fits well though I think the screw hardware on my Canik mount was a little screwed up. Had to use the Canik screw for right side screw. Left side screw worked for the ADE screw. Will update if anything goes wrong. This feels like more of a target range sight. Having to hold the button for 3 seconds to turn it on would be a real downside if I were in any kind of an extreme situation.

This is a great Red Dot for new Red Dot owners. Don’t spend high dollars for an RMR or DP Pro if you’re just getting started with red dot shooting. Try this one first! It works just as good as those mentioned. Those that are saying it comes with a big thick base, just take the base off and it will mount flush onto your pistol Sight plate. This has a very low profile! Works perfectly on my Walther PPQ Match Q5! Very well built! For the price, I’m very impressed with what I got!

Currently have it installed on a S&W Victory 22, sight is nice and lightweight. Easy to zero and holds it very well, though it’s not getting beat too hard with just a .22lr so your mileage may vary. Would I put this on my AR15 pistol? Probably not. A 22 or 9mm carbine? Absolutely. My only minor complaint is that the screw head for the picatinny mount sticks out just a little too far and looks goofy, but it’s a minor nitpick that in no way effects how the sight actually functions. Sight seems to be well built for the cost

ADE optic well woth the price

Posted by Customer on 23rd Jul 2025

    GREAT Bang for the Buck!!!!

Posted by David B on 23rd Jul 2025

Great mid entry level pistol red dot

Posted by RR on 22nd Jul 2025

Bought this for my FN Herstel FNX .40s&w. Initial quality is good. It's a bit rough around the edges on the aluminum frame and the optic. with that being said; I was able to zero this in at 10yds at the range with one clip and it holds true. Optic is clear and the coating filters out extra bright light and looks great.

    Value for the buck

Posted by reynaldo pina on 22nd Jul 2025

This little guy surprised me! I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but the sight was actually pretty good. The sight was clear, the design was pretty good, and overall easy to install and zero. I like that the battery cover is on to make it it easier whenever the time comes to replace the battery. 6moa is a bit on the bigger side but overall I enjoy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Red Dot Sight

Posted by STAR Financial Credit Union on 22nd Jul 2025

This is a excellent sight and relatively easy to install. Removing the attached pic base only took a couple of minutes to figure out and other than that it was easy. This is a great value and it compares well with my other red dot sights. I like this better than my EOTech red dot sight!

Really cannot wait to shoot with this. This is my first red dot and after doing some research I realized I did not need to spend bookoo $$ to get a good quality sight. I’m very happy with how this appears to look and I like the top battery mount and the adjustments. Easy to turn on and off and adjust as well. American flag is cool to see :) very happy here

    Fits Canik TP9 sfx

Posted by Dom on 22nd Jul 2025

Fits well though I think the screw hardware on my Canik mount was a little screwed up. Had to use the Canik screw for right side screw. Left side screw worked for the ADE screw. Will update if anything goes wrong. This feels like more of a target range sight. Having to hold the button for 3 seconds to turn it on would be a real downside if I were in any kind of an extreme situation.

Buy This First Before You Spend a LOT of $$$

    Posted by HO-YOUNG C. on 22nd Jul 2025

These Ade red dots are a hidden gem this was my 5th one never a problem with any of them!

Posted by JIMBO on 22nd Jul 2025

If you think because of the price these are not good red dots you're slowly mistaken I don't know about any of the negative reviews but as my I have 5 of these I've used them on multiple kinds of handguns and even have 1 on a AR-15 And no problems with any of them they hold zero and as long as you use a little blue Loctite their plates and their red dot screws won't loosen up??

    Great red dot for plinking

Posted by Shane on 22nd Jul 2025

Currently have it installed on a S&W Victory 22, sight is nice and lightweight. Easy to zero and holds it very well, though it’s not getting beat too hard with just a .22lr so your mileage may vary. Would I put this on my AR15 pistol? Probably not. A 22 or 9mm carbine? Absolutely. My only minor complaint is that the screw head for the picatinny mount sticks out just a little too far and looks goofy, but it’s a minor nitpick that in no way effects how the sight actually functions. Sight seems to be well built for the cost

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Impressed

Posted by Customer on 22nd Jul 2025

I was a bit skeptical when buying the item but for the cost I thought I'd give it a try. I took it to the range and fired over 500 rounds from my Glock 17. After zeroing the weapon, the optic maintained its "Zero" the entire without any lag in performance. I normally fire Sig Sauer sight on my pistol but this is right up there. I was able to place rounds within a 1-inch group at 20 yards away. I recommend this sight to anyone looking to try out red dot pistol optics. The one complaint I had was that there are no instructions for zeroing. I had to go on YouTube for a tutorial which was a little frustraiting.

It stays on target for the long hall!

Posted by HANKERVIN on 22nd Jul 2025

I put it on a Canik TP9 combat elite. I'm just breaking in the Canik and my old eyes couldn't do better than 4'' groups at 25yds. After putting on the ADE reflex sight I was shooting 2'' groups at 25yds while sighting it in. After 5 three shot groups I had it within 1/2'' high and 1'' right. I know this because the next 15 shots were amazing. I aimed 1'' to the left and emptied the magazine! 12 shots hit in 1''group 1/2'' high and dead center, the other three within 2''. I've never done that before, 15 shots! TWO INCH GROUP, 25YRDS. I know its only the first day, I will post another review in a couple months after I put at lest a thousand rds. through my Canik TP9 combat elite/ ADE/Tactical Reflex Dot Sight.

    Unbeatable for the price

Posted by kyle bellah on 21st Jul 2025

Shipped quickly and installed very easily on my 9mm cz clone. Dead on right out the box at 30 yards with a lazer boresight, and after almost 500 rounds still keeping 2.5" groupings. The only downside was the alignment pin holes on the rear of the sight didnt fit the mount i purchased (fronts fit perfect) other than that its been perfect. ive been comparing it to the Vortex and fastfire that my buddies shoot and other than this sight not having an auto-off feature, i think i got the better deal. Definitely buying a second and third for my other two firearms *edit* Now almost 1500 rounds downrange with the optic and it's still holding true. Swapped it to a friends AR15 with the included rail mount(which I did not need on my pistol) and the sight was 1" low at 100 without ever being adjusted.
