  • The mainly new change of 009D compare to other 009 productions is 009D has a cut underneath at the base near the the rear portion, it reduces the overall length of the base area where attaches to the handgun plate. This slightly shorter base allows 009D to fit to the "optic cut" to some 3rd party made custom slides with optics "cut out" for exact length of vortex venom or other red dots. This underneath side of RD3-009D will be shorter than other typical red dot sights, which gives a better chance to fit into some custom "optic cut". 
  • This is ADE's entry level red dot originally released in 2014. Over the years of improvement, it is one of best budget red dot for the quality at this price range. We have made it more durable to withstand recoil and improved the ability to hold zero. Designed in Oregon. Starting Jan 2024, this red dot is shipped with Motion Awake Technology.
  • Starting 2024, this red dot will be shipped with the Motion Activated System. While the red dot is turned on, the red dot illumination goes to sleep after five minutes of inactivity, but when any motion or vibration is detected, it instantly switches on illumination at the previous brightness setting. Users also have the option to manually turn the red dot power off to disable the Motion Activated System.

  • Upon receiving your ADE red dot, you'll find a pre-assembled Picatinny mounting plate, either already affixed or packaged separately. Use the provided Allen wrench to remove the two M3.5X6mm screws located behind the glass frame. This detaches the red dot from the Picatinny plate, enabling attachment to various handgun mounting plates (sold separately) for customization.
