Ade RD3-006 Green Dot Reflex Sight + Optic Mounting Plate for SAR USA - SAR9, SAR9 CX, SAR 9 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pistol

This mounting plate completed my EDC setup perfectly. I’m running an ADE RD3 series optic on my SAR9 and the combination has been excellent. The plate feels sturdy and properly machined. Installation took maybe five minutes. I cleaned the screws, added blue threadlocker, and torqued everything down. Since then I’ve put several range sessions through the pistol and haven’t had to re-tighten anything. I carry this firearm daily, so reliability matters to me. Cheap mounting plates can ruin an otherwise good optic setup, but this one has been dependable so far. The optic remains centered and holds zero consistently. Overall this was a great value purchase and I’d absolutely buy from ADE again.

The plate itself works fine and fit my optic correctly, but the packaging was pretty basic. Mine arrived loose inside the padded envelope and I thought it might be damaged at first. Luckily everything was okay and once installed it functioned properly. I just wish the presentation and packaging felt a little more premium.

I originally tried using a different adapter plate and had constant issues with screws backing out. Switched to this ADE plate and immediately noticed the machining quality was much better. The finish matches the slide nicely and the optic sits secure. I used blue Loctite and torqued correctly and it has stayed perfectly tight.
