ADE is releasing the PRO SERIES for ADE RD3 series that fits a varieties of popular optic footprint on the market. The additional features that the PRO series includes are Multi Reticle Technology(select models),  Motion Awake System and are a new cosmetic redesign by ADE in Oregon City, Oregon.

Top load System, no need to Remove the sight to change the Battery. Comes with Red dot, tool, removeable picatinny plate with two screws, cover, lens cloth and instruction manual. Fits pistol optic plate/cut that is compatible with Doctor/Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire footprint. Does NOT fit optic plate/cut for RMR, Shield RMS type footprints.

The ADE Delta PRO(D3-012PRO) has Motion Activated System technology. While Delta PRO is turned on, the red dot illumination goes to sleep after five minutes of inactivity, but when any motion or vibration is detected, it instantly switches on illumination at the previous brightness setting.

The reticle can be switched between a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, a 2 MOA dot only, or a 32 MOA ring only at the push of a button. Better yet, the same LED projects both reticles, so no re-zeroing is necessary. Operates with a single CR1632 battery. Press and Hold the DOWN switch for 3 seconds to manually turn on/off the power. Press and Hold the UP switch for 3 seconds to change reticle. Quick press Up/Down switches to adjust brightness.

    Works and does the job!

Posted by Gyroslynky on 21st Sep 2025

So first things first, you see the American flag on the side and you would assume it is made in the USA, it is designed in the USA and produced in China. So many optics now days are made overseas, there is nothing wrong with that. It works and is competitive with the higher dollar red dots out there. If name brand is important to you, then you might be skeptical, however, save yourself some bucks to buy more ammo and shoot with this. I bet you will not be able to tell the difference between that higher dollar red dot versus this in a no label test. So please please please, read the installation instructions, like someone else mentioned know your firearms. This site is worth the money and functions like it should as long as it is installed and sighted in. I use mine on my pistol, I have had no issues with it.

Love the shake & wake feature. Solid construction & bright red dot under the sun.

The ADE RD3-12 Pro micro red dot with picatinny mount works well on my Buckmark along with the picatinny mount. I like the 3 choices for reticle selections. It makes target shooting more fun because it allows me to have different options for different targets and distance. The red dot is very bright indoor even when it is at level 3 brightness, but it needs to be at least level 6-7 when using it outdoor. I really like the shake awake feature the most because the red dot will always be ready instantly and it also saves battery life if I forget to turn it off. The only unusual thing is I need to hold on to the "down" button for 3 seconds to turn the unit on and off instead of the usual up button like other major brands. I will update how well it holds zero-in after a few thousands live rounds.

Large field of view, 2/32 MOA red cycle + dot multi-reticle, top loading battery, shake-awake!!!

Posted by Vlad S. on 21st Sep 2025

If you're looking for a reliable and versatile red dot sight, the ADE Delta PRO red cycle dot sight is definitely worth considering. It comes with all the necessary components you may need to mount it on your rifle's Picatinny rail and offers a wide field of view, making it easy to acquire targets quickly and accurately. It's worth noting that the ADE Delta PRO red cycle dot sight is also incredibly compact, making it an ideal option for those looking to add a red dot sight to their pistol slide. The 2/32 MOA circle dot reticle size is also perfect for this application, providing a clear and precise aiming point without obstructing too much of your field of view. The cool feature of this sight is that you can actually choose from 3 different reticles - red dot, red cycle, and red cycle + dot. To switch between reticles simply press and hold the "UP" button for 3 seconds when the sight is turned on. Each of the reticle types has its own perfect application scenario making the sight very well suited for various shooting conditions. This sight has a solid construction and feels sturdy and durable. It comes with a Picatinny mounting base pre-installed, which can be removed, and the sight can be directly mounted to a pistol slide that has a Doctor compatible cutout. This provides a great deal of versatility when it comes to mounting options. The sight uses a small CR1632 battery, and its battery compartment is hidden on the top side of its base, so you don't need to remove the whole sight to change it, but you'll need a small wrench, which is included. This is an excellent option for battery compartment design IMHO as you are not going to throw away your zeroing and have to re-zero it all over again when you change the battery because you don't need to remove the sight to do it! The red dot sight comes with a protective rubber cover that you can put over it while transporting your firearm. It has 9 levels of visible brightness. The two brightest of the 9 levels are almost indistinguishable though, but it's sort of normal for red dots. There is also one IR illumination mode, so if you are planning to use it with your NV goggles, look no further. Pressing the left side "UP" button for 3 seconds turns the red dot ON and holding the "DOWN" button for 3 seconds turns it OFF. The adjustments on this sight are also easy to make, and it comes with a small Allen wrench for making any necessary changes. The one extra safety feature that I did not find yet in any other - red dot sight has lockable windage and elevation to make sure that it holds zero under even heavy .45 recoil - there are two "LOCK" screws on the rear end of the sight. The main selling point of this red dot sight is the motion wake-up feature. It shuts off the sight after about 5 mins of inactivity and turns on immediately once you pick it up. Apparently, this feature works very well and the sight lights up immediately as soon as I pick it up. This renders it perfectly suited for home defense situations and SHTF situations when you need to grab your weapon and be ready in seconds. If you store your firearm for a long time and want to save the battery, you can completely shut down the sight by holding the "-" button. To summarize, if you're looking for a cost-effective solution for close range target acquisition, this sight definitely works. It has a large field of view, and the lens has excellent clarity. The 2/32 MOA red cycle dot sight is a particularly good way to engage close-quarters targets, evaluate target distance and track targets. I had no issues with zeroing it and it holds zero perfectly when shooting a .357 caliber pistol round. I think it's worth the money. *** TL;DR *** Overall, I would highly recommend the ADE Delta PRO red cycle dot sight to anyone looking for a reliable and accurate accessory for their firearm. It offers impressive performance, solid construction, a wide field of view, a versatile 2/32 MOA red cycle + dot multi-reticle, and an excellent shake-awake feature. All at a very reasonable price point. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or a beginner just starting out, this sight is definitely worth considering. Inclusion of an IR illumination mode enhances its usability even further in context of nighttime applications. This sight is by far one of the best I've used, and I do not hesitate to give it a solid 5 stars rating. Great sight for the money. +++ Pros +++ 1) Solidly heavy-duty built. 1) Doctor cutout pistol slide compatible. 2) Perfect for close range targets. 3) Has an awesome shake-awake feature! 4) Top loading battery compartment! 5) Crystal-clear optics. 6) Versatile circle dot multi-reticle. 7) Very wide field of view. 8) Has an IR illumination mode. 8) Holds under heavy .357 recoil. 9) Windage and elevation can be locked. 10) Water and fog proof (IP7). 11) Comes with a rubber dust cover. 12) Budget friendly. --- Cons --- Absolutely none.

A motion activated, multi reticle system, optics ready red dot sight!

Posted by Michael Black on 21st Sep 2025

I got the ADE 2023 RD3-012-PRO Series Motion Activated Red Dot Sight for my Glock 17, and it fits like a glove! It utilizes the Doctor/Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire footprint. It does NOT fit optic plate/cut for RMR, Shield RMS type footprints, so make sure that you get the right sight for your firearm. This was my first red dot sight and so far, I can tell you that it is a quality-built sight at a fair price. I wasn't familiar with the ADE brand, but I can say that it is a quality-built product and I have picked up a few more of their models for various firearms including my Glock 43X MOS. As mentioned, the materials that are used are good, quality materials and I would say it is a good, solid midrange sight, not something I would necessarily use for competition, but it is the one that I use on my daily carry firearm. Additional features that the ADE 2023 RD3-012-PRO Series Motion Activated Red Dot Sight includes are their "Multi Reticle System", which means that the reticle can be "switched between a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, a 2 MOA dot only, or a 32 MOA ring only at the push of a button". One difference for this sight is that the battery is a top load system, so you do not need to remove the sight from the firearm just to change the battery. Overall, the sight is a great sight with clear optics. Even though the sight is made overseas, it is designed in Oregon, USA and the support is US based as well. I can and do recommend the ADE 2023 RD3-012-PRO Series Motion Activated Red Dot Sight!

Decent overall, excellent for the price.

ADE 2023 RD3-012-PRO Series Motion Activated Red Dot Sight with Multi Reticle System for Optics Ready Pistol Slide/Cut That is Compatible with Doctor Footprint. I see that another reviewer gave this a very low rating, stating that he had received a used/returned product becuase the battery was installed. Mine too had the battery installed and there was no strip of plastic or anything to isolate the battery but I did not arrive at the same conclusion as the other reviewer. I am just assuming that is the way the manufacturer sends them out, presumably because they tested each unit at the factory prior to shipping. It is a nice little unit, seems robust. I tried taking photos of each reticle but I could not get my camera to focus on the reticle. All three reticles are visibly different but my camera could not focus or differentiate between them. I am only loading one photo ofnthe reticle, trust me, it is better with the eye than the camera. This is a decent low profile red dot for a good price Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I hope you found it helpful! REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.

As a gunsmith, here is some real talk….

Posted by Tide Man on 21st Sep 2025

Let me give you some real talk from a professional gunsmith. The reviews that say this is a good “entry level” red dot are written by folks that are trying to sound like they know more than they do. There is no such thing as an “entry level” red dot…it’s either a red dot sight or it isn’t. You don’t need a master’s degree to operate one. Folks that give a bad review because it didn’t fit, didn’t pay attention when they ordered it. Know your weapon. Understand the “footprint” for red dot sights and order accordingly. Don’t blame the manufacturer for your own laziness or incompetence. As a professional gunsmith that spent 8 years in the Marine Corps and worked in law enforcement, I can tell you that this is an EXCELLENT gun sight. It is compact and well made. It fits the footprints that it is designed for PERFECTLY, and securely. It zeros easily and maintains zero after heavy use. The quality meets or exceeds any of the $400 rip offs out there that are selling you a name brand as much as a gun sight. I would buy this any day over the others and use it to compete against anyone using a high dollar version. And I would win. If you want to spend your money just to keep up with your friends, suit yourself. If you would like to have a quality red dot sight at an extremely reasonable price, then this is what you need. Now that’s real talk. 22 people found this helpful

    Fantastic value sight

Posted by Nolan on 21st Sep 2025

I was super curious how well a reflex sight in this price range could be, and I'll go ahead and skip to the part where I just tell you it's great. The main highlights are the dot-quality, and accuracy, which are the most important factors in a reflex sight. The budget optic I replaced with this was a Bushnell TR-25, which was slightly cheaper than this when I bought it, but not by enough to call them different price ranges, but you wouldn't think that based on the difference in quality. As far as installing goes, it didn't take more than a couple of minutes, though I was slightly surprised by the fact that the optic is screwed down onto its rail mount rather than it being one piece, but it didn't cause any issues. Sighting it in was even easier, and the included screwdriver fits nicely in the earplug compartment of my ammo case. The directions simply and clearly explained the process from start to finish in just a few steps, which made it easier to focus on lining the reticle up with my bore laser at 25 yards. The dot itself deserves praise too. With my Bushnell, its dot is totally scattered and appears as a small grouping of 20ish dots, which is an annoyance. With this, it's a clean dot with no issues, and plenty of brightness settings. After a few hundred rounds down range, my groupings and accuracy stayed true, so I haven't had to readdjust them yet, which is another massive win for this thing. I can't speak for all situations, obviously, since I have mine on the fixed rail of my 22lr rifle, so it may not hold up as well on the moving slide of a 9mm pistol. What I can say for sure, though, is that I'm not putting my old optic back on any time soon. I might have to pick one up for my pistol as well, too.

    rivals the more expensive options

Posted by Bridgette on 21st Sep 2025

Everything's laid out the way I'd like it, and it's got ALL the features of the more expensive units (Holosun). The reticle is clear as is the glass. So long as it's holds up to thousands of rounds, there's no reason to go with something more expensive IMO. Lol... of course if it breaks... that's something to consider... at which point we'll see how good ADE's warranty is.

ADE DOT SIGHTS ARE AFFORDABLE, AND VERY HIGH QUALITY. YOU CAN SPEND MORE $$$, BUT WHY DO THAT!

Posted by Gil on 21st Sep 2025

This is my THIRD ADE dot sight, and they each have been a best buy for my use. The glass of the ADE RD3-012-PRO is clear, the adjustments click at each increment, the co-witness sights on the back end of the Delta Pro are impressive, but the Delta Pro sits low enough on my XD-M ELITE that I can also use the factory sights. I determined a couple of decades ago, that I didn't need to remortgage my home to get quality firearms accessories, and the ADE dot sights validate my belief. For <$150, you get more than you paid for with ADE optics. STRONGLY RECOMMEND the ADE RD3-012-PRO, and this vendor, to anyone looking for more than their money's worth!
