Practical Upgrade Over Traditional Boresight Cartridges
Compared to older models, this feels like a modernized version of the same concept. Rechargeable power, compact construction, and consistent output make it much easier to rely on long term. It’s a simple but worthwhile improvement to a basic tool.

Straightforward Tool That Speeds Up Zeroing
This cuts down on guesswork when setting up optics or sights. Instead of starting from scratch at the range, I already have alignment close to where it needs to be. It makes the live-fire process faster and more efficient overall.
-
Good Runtime for Multiple Adjustments
One full charge gives me enough time to work through several adjustments without worrying about power dropping off. I like knowing it lasts long enough for an entire setup session, which keeps the workflow smooth.
-
Rechargeable Feature Is the Real Advantage
The biggest benefit over older cartridge boresighters is simply the ability to recharge instead of replace batteries. Over time, that’s both more convenient and more economical. I can see this lasting much longer because I’m not constantly opening it up to change cells.
-
Bright Enough to Make Adjustments Easy
The laser is strong enough to clearly reference alignment without struggling to see it. I’ve used it indoors and in controlled lighting to set things up, and it performs consistently. It’s designed for a specific job and does that job well.
-
Reliable Alignment Tool Without Overcomplication
There’s nothing complicated here — insert it, align your sights, recharge when done. That simplicity is exactly why I like it. The laser output stays consistent, and I don’t have to fiddle with tiny batteries or extra accessories.
-
Compact Size Makes It Easy to Store in My Range Bag
Because it’s small and lightweight, I keep it in a small case inside my range kit. It doesn’t take up space, and the rechargeable battery means I don’t need to carry spare cells. It’s one of those tools you don’t use every day, but when you need it, it’s extremely helpful.

Great Tool for Quick Setup Before Range Trips
Before heading to the range, I use this to confirm alignment and save time on live-fire adjustments. The beam is bright enough to see clearly when lining things up, and the runtime per charge is plenty for multiple sessions. It’s become part of my regular prep routine.

Much Easier to Work With Than Older Boresighters
I’ve tried other units that couldn’t be turned off once installed, which wasted battery life. This rechargeable model avoids that problem and gives much better control over usage. I like that it’s purpose-built for compact 9 mm pistols rather than trying to be universal.
-
Solid Brass Construction Feels Durable
This unit has a reassuring weight because of the brass cartridge body, and it doesn’t feel flimsy at all. It inserts just like a round and stays aligned while I adjust my sights. The laser is clear and stable, which makes the whole zeroing process faster and less frustrating.
-
Saves Money and Hassle Compared to Disposable Battery Models
The removable rechargeable battery is what sold me. Instead of constantly replacing button cells, I recharge it and keep using it. Charging takes less than an hour, which is quick enough that I don’t have to plan ahead much. It’s compact, lightweight, and works exactly as intended for zeroing.

https://opticsfactory.com/handgun-laser-sight/9MMBSRecharge
I’ve owned several traditional boresighters that relied on tiny coin batteries, and they always seemed to die right when I needed them. This rechargeable version completely solves that issue. I just plug it in, give it a quick charge, and it’s ready to go. The laser is bright and easy to see when aligning sights, and the cartridge-style format fits cleanly into my 9 mm pistol. It’s a simple concept, but the rechargeable feature makes it far more convenient over time.
