    Mount works well...Put ot on a 12 ga Mossberg 500 with a Crimson Trace Red Dot....Very sturdy

    Affixed to the picatinny rail with no problem. The red dot fit precisely on the plate. Haven't had a chance to shoot the firearm yet so I really can't say much more

    I don't have much experience with firearm optics. This one went on pretty easy with my Beretta U22 Neo. I wish some of the components were more flush and clean after install but I think this plate is more of a generic one for when you mount an optic that isn't manufacturer specific (?). It mounts very firmly/securely. The sig Romeo 2 I put on the plate mounted great. Sits a little taller than I'd like but whatever. If I cared that much I would have gotten a Beretta optic or something that direct mounts. I'd buy this again for another plinker but I don't think I would for a self defense or hunting platform. I'd get something cleaner and/or higher quality.
