Excellent glass for the money
Excellent glass for the money. Great power range. Clear optics. Power ring and turrets neither too hard nor too easy to operate. I put it on a bolt action 308 hunting rifle. I used medium rings. There were some problems mounting it. The tube was too short to mount on the 1 pc. picatinny type base I was using so I had to modify the forward end of the base to clear the ocular bell. Then the nitrogen purge/fill tube below the turrets is very large and prevented the scope from being mounted because of the mounting slots. So I got out my dremel again to modify that. Finally the knob on the power ring was interfering with the bolt handle so I filed down the knob as well as the bolt handle until it cleared. If you have no experience making these sort of modifications I would advise taking the rig to a gunsmith. After I completed the modifications I was very happy. I zeroed at 200 yds. (about min. of angle groups) and will use the mil dots if longer shots are necessary. I am happy with my new pseudo tactical bolt action 308.

Better than Vortex? Yes it is!!!
I recently purchased this scope to mount on my Tikka t1x in .22lr. The glass is clear and the eye relief is great. I typically shoot this gun at 50 and 100 yards and I can see bullet holes easy at 12 power. After 2000 round it holds zero perfectly. The mildot reticle is great and very helpful for referencing the drop of the .22lr rounds. Parallax works great also. I have a few Vortex diamondback tactical rifle scopes and a couple other Athlon scopes and for the money spent I can say the Athlon scopes are better both in glass and overall quality of the scopes build construction. I know a lot of people that compare these two brand since they are close in price and in features but I can say that if your looking at both Id buy the Athlon. In my opinion it just nicer in every way and i mean in glass, tracking, parallax adjustment, turrets, and overall build construction. I hope this helps someone.

Outstanding Performance
These scopes are the best! Price, quality and toughness I have 11 of them!

Great scope
In this price range, I really doubt you could find anything better! Clear glass, very good light transmission, precise adjustments, tracks well, just a great all-around scope! I actually like it better than the Vortex Crossfire II it replaced. The only thing missing is the "accurange" hatch marks, but I didn't really use them on my 17 WSM "walking rifle" anyway. I seldom get shots beyond 200 yards with it, and the WSM shoots so flat out to that range it's easy to "guestimate" holdover. I'm going to buy more Athlon optics for sure!

Clear glass and nice reticle. The scope weighs 587 grams or 20
Clear glass and nice reticle. The scope weighs 587 grams or 20.5 oz. 25 % more than advertised. The parallax adjustment knob is very difficult to turn and would be very difficult to use in the field. The illumination portion of the reticle is shadowed to one side regardless of the setting and does not look correct.

Heavy Scope
Weight is greater than advertised. A bit dark. Parallax knob is hard to turn. Parallax range markings are off by quite a bit. Gonna keep it--but just barely.

Great value, no problems with alignment and recoil related issues.
The optics are clear and AO is very precise from low to high range. Eye relief is excellent. Solidly built. Shipped in a secure OEM box. Mounted the scope on a Diana 430L. No problems so far with recoil, over 600 rounds.

Pretty good scope for the money
Great clarity, great eye relief, seems to be made pretty quality even though it is made in China I can't complain about it to much, seems to be a pretty good scope and holds zero so far on my 6.5 creedmoor.

Great value
I’d never heard of ade but after watching a YouTube review I gave it a try. Really outstanding scope for the money and it is standing up well on my spring air rifle which is notorious for tearing up the toughest of scopes!
